"Food from Saffron is exceptional! Garlic Naan is soft and full of flavor. General Tso Cauliflower is my favorite. Spicy but not too spicy. ODS- Butter Chicken (Old Delhi Style) has a wonderful tomatoey flavor and the chicken is so tender."
"Best Indian food I've had :) Although it is pricy, especially with the delivery fee, still definitely worth it to order once every few weeks. The butter chicken is flavorful, the sauce is rich, and you aren't overwhelmed by any single spice. The balance is perfect, and goes really well with any bread. The portion size is also optimal, with one serving of the butter chicken being more than enough for one person, if not two people (if you aren't that hungry). "

"Delicious! The Grilled Chicken Boti Thali had great flavor and was plentiful. The sauce on the paneer was creamy and rich with plenty of veget and paneer cubes. The daal was thick and tasty. The little chopped salad that comes with it had a ginger dressing that cut the richness of the meal. A wonderful meal!"
"I never put up reviews, but I'm very disappointed in today's delivery. The naan bread was stale and old. The chicken tikki masala was all sauce and very little chicken. I've ordered from this store before and they have consistently done a good job. Unfortunately today was really bad. "

"We loved it! The Gobi Manchurian has actual large crunchy cauliflower pieces. The momo are a generous size. Mango Lassi was thick and full of mango. And the Samosa were good too, a nice crispy dough that stayed crispy for a surprisingly long time."
"The Chicken Biryani was amazing. Great flavor! I got it spicy--which is spicier than you usually get in this area---so I will definitely get it again. But for the whole Bay Area, I'd say the spicy was more like medium spicy. The Dahi Puri was also really good! My only request would be for more of the green/brown sauces included in the to-go. So happy I found this place. Definitely order from here! "

"MPLR (Boneless) Chicken Biryani is consistently delicious as always, the portion is good, amount of chicken is generous and is always juicy and flavorful, and always tastes fresh. I have ordered it many, many times, and would order again. My only gripe is the price increase. Price went from $20 to $28 in less than a year. The MPLR (Boneless) Chicken Biryani used to be my go-to item that I would order couple times a week sometimes, but I cannot afford to do that anymore."
"Varam is a new Indian place, haven't tried in person, but just tried on Door dash for the first time. I ordered two Biryanis and loved them both! The Golconda Kofta Biryani is amazing! This biryani had minced goat koftas shaped around a hard boiled egg (think Scotch eggs, if you don't know what a kofta is). The kofta is pretty large and you get two kofte in the dish. The biryani was very flavorful and also spicy, and the minced goat was incredibly delicious and tender. Loved it, will definitely order again. The Potlam Chicken Biryani was also super delicious, it's an egg-wrapped biryani with spicy boneless chicken pieces. Also very good, the chicken was tender and juicy. " BEST AUTHENTIC Thai food in the Bay Area!!
I'm so impressed for a lunch-time Thai food delivery order. The food was fresh and tasty, the portion size was great.
I ordered the Tom Kar Chicken soup and was beyond pleased with the amount of "stuff" that was in it, and great flavor too. The Pad See Ew was also packed with flavor and such good noodles and tender protein.
I love how everything is made fresh to order, Family owned and operated Gina's recipes hit the spot every time!
I've had BAD experiences with OTHER Thai restaurants in the area: the food was not fresh, skimpy portions, no flavor! I cannot tell you how satisfied I am with @thaiHouse and without a doubt will order again.
Five Stars !!!
Cozy, comfortable, very friendly staff if you dine in.
If you're craving delicious food, you've found it @ Thai House! "

"Ordered Egg Biryani and Pav Bhaji. Packing was great. So was the taste. Its been a while I had such a good biriyani. The spice level was just right of the biriyani was just right. Pav Bhaji had the good amount of butter and the flavour was great. "
"I was really disappointed with this order, especially for the price. At around twenty dollars per entree, I expected much better. The Chicken Tikka Masala was overly sweet, very oily, and had a thin, consistency instead of a rich, creamy sauce. Once mixed with the rice, it honestly just tasted like oil. On top of that, there were maybe three to five small pieces of chicken. The Palak Paneer was unfortunately even worse. It was extremely bland, overly oily, the same thin consistency, not saucy at all and honestly not edible. I couldn’t finish it. Overall, the food felt low quality and overpriced. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t order these dishes again."

"Shocked that I didn't 5-star them when I first tried a few months ago. Tandoori Chicken is great, mildly spiced and not boring, made a good road trip lunch. Calamari Pakoras were unusual and very satisfying. Kabuli Naan was also good - a bit decadent, sweet flatbread - as was the Nimbo Pani, which was lemonade plus a bit of proprietary flavouring. Big kudos for Chicken Salad, which is a nice fresh greens salad with a packet of tandoori chicken bites you mix in to keep from getting bored. I loved it all, can heartily recommend and will return myself."

"I decided to try the Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Butter Chicken to see what my family would like best. We always order the Tikka Chicken Tikka Masala, and its still our favorite. However, the other two are delicious. CTM is the sweetest, the CK is the richest and least sweet (more savory), and the BC is right in the middle but not sweet. The Beef Samosa is delicious as always, but I tasted a raisin for the first time (not fond of raisins with savory meals, but it is still delicious). The beef samosas are spicy. The rice was very fresh and delicious, the restaurant was great, and followed all my 'asks,' written in my comments. The Kheer dessert and the Gulab Jamun mixed together are amazing. The kids loved their mango lassis. Success once again, we will definitely order again. Garlic Naan fantastic as well. "

The food is good but for 30 dollars you think it would be bigger, My fork is bigger than the plate. Tastes great but portion size sucks!"

"I did not have the self restraint to take nice pictures before digging into the food, it just smelled too great. Rara is my favourite restaurant in the Peninsula right now. I order from here for when I miss home food or when there's a range of spice tolerances to cater to. The food is so flavorful without much "heat". The Gorkhali Local Rooster Shorba Soup is my favourite. It reminds me of my grandmother's food and makes my eyes tear up with joy. "
"These are not the droids you're looking for. Possibly authentic but just not what I was expecting. The "buff" was so dried out and salty as to be inedible. The momos were good though, so those are a safe choice!"

"I've already reviewed the other dishes before, so adding a review just for Chana Pulao - Sherry Mehta this time. This was an incredibly fragrant and delicious pulao, the rice was perfectly cooked long-grain basmati, and the fried onions on top gave it the authentic pulao fragrance and taste. I really enjoyed it, and the generous amount of chana (chickpeas) made it more substantial and filling. Comes with raita (yoghurt dip) on the side, which was also just perfect. Ideally I would have appreciated a slightly larger quantity of raita, because I ran out towards the end. A version of this pulao with other vegetables (potatoes, peas, carrots, cauliflower, green beans etc) would be quite delicious, I hope they add something like that to the menu."
"The Kerala Porotta was great and a good value considering other places.
Chicken ghee roast was quite flavorful - and not too spicy, just how we like it !
One recommendation would be to reduce the salt in the Kalappam - otherwise it paired very well with the chicken.
Channa was great too."

"Delicious food! I love so many different dishes here. Nan gyi dok is delicious and I love the first chicken with tofu. I just wish they allowed you to order the tea leaf salad without peanuts or at least on the side. A lot of people have allergies these days."
"Terrible takeout: we ordered pad Thai and noodle soup, eggrolls were barely filled and the filling smelled weird so we tossed them after one bite.
Would not order again.
Pad Thai was bland, overcooked and flavorless. The soup was same. 2/10."

"Crispy Vegetable Samosas : Flaky and flavorful, and not as oily as many other Indian restaurants or eateries. I like it very much!
Dal Soup : Excellent flavor. Enjoyed it a lot.
Vegan Dumplings (Momo): Great texture of the veggies and the flour skin and very good red and orange sauces.
Overall, a pleasant surprise. I would give this place a solid 5/5, and am a little saddened by their current score of 4/5. Will definitely order more! "
