"This was our 20th anniversary dinner - at home. We've never been disappointed by Samurai and tonight was no different! My husband splurged with the filetFilet Mignon & Shrimp hibachi and he said it was awesome and that the steak "melted in his mouth." I ordered a favorite of mine, but I order it rarely because it's a pricey appetizer: Tuna Tataki. Oh my goodness! It's crusted lightly with a mild peppery dust and seared for just a moment, so it's still raw except for the crust. The ponzu sauce it's served with is *mwah* perfect! My main was the Spicy Maki Combo. I normally go for sashimi, but I was in the mood for something spicy. No regrets. All 3 types of rolls were delicious and succulent and just...yum. "I have heard this place was good but I wasn't prepared for just how good. I've ALWAYS wanted to try Takoyaki (5) and I've only ever seen it online. I really didn't know what to expect, I just knew it looked delicious. Because I have nothing to compare it to I have no idea if it's anything like traditional takoyaki, but it has a very unique flavor and texture that is incredibly hard to describe. kinda like doughy and crispy at the same time. The octopus flavor is mild and the sauces are a weird combination of sweet and savory that hits all the right taste buds. The star of the show was DEFINITELY the Tonkotsu Ramen though. they send the noodles and toppings separate from the broth which is nice if you're not planning to eat it right. The broth on its own is incredible. Kind of creamy and perfectly seasoned. I love the different array of toppings and chose to add pork to mine. The pork was incredibly tender with a kind of teriyaki/BBQ sauce that tasted amazing!"

I also wish the dish had a little more sauce because the noodles were on the dry side. It could have used a bit more seasoning as well, since it tasted somewhat bland. I probably wouldn’t order the beef version again. I think this dish would be much better with chicken, shrimp, or even pork instead."

The Wonton Soup is SO flavorful and delicious. Even the chips to go in the soup are unusually good. Crab Rangoon is likewise just as good. I probaby said "wow" 50 times while eating this.
