"I have heard so many great things about this restaurant and wanted to try it. I ordered Chicken & Dumplings, an Apple Fritter Loaf and Potato Soup. The Chicken & Dumplings were overly peppered and the dumplings were overcooked. The Apple Fritter Loaf was very dry. The Potato Soup was very good. I will give them another try because they are a small business and sometimes restaurants have an off night."

The sauce is so freaking good. The sides I love are the red beans & rice which are the best in the area and the vegetables. I've had all their sides and loved each of them. My wife is sensitive to salt, and get's the fried catfish tacos and they're her favorite. Their shrimp gumbo is a favorite of mine because it's not overly spicy, but still tasty.
