Not to mention (look at the pic) the sandwich was more bun than anything. The Fried cheese was ok but didn't look anything like the menu pics(which looked fire!!) Tasted good but pretty average. Again, sad that I had to make this unsavory review but I expected more from such a well known staple. Sorry Rene's...you missed the mark on this one."

"I saw this restaurant and I was intrigued by some of the options, but I checked out their Instagram and immediately I was like.... I need to try this.
The portion size is great and the ingredients seem freshly put together. The taste is something pulled straight from somebody's Nonna cooking in the kitchen and I really enjoyed it!
The one downside was that the pasta itself was quite overcooked, far past al-dente and borderline mush at parts. I figure it must've just been a mistake during the cook, but it's a small chef-run restaurant and with how fabulous everything else is, I can't really complain much.
I'm definitely ordering from this place again, but I think I'll opt for something other than the penne. Maybe the rigatoni might cook a bit better or maybe I could try that ravioli.
Who knows. Either way, I'm ordering from here and probably making a quick trip to dine in because from what I've seen from their socials, it's literally the cutest little place in the city.

I got the chicken and shrimp which was amazing, fresh, and a soild vaule for my bucks! The potatoes were very buttery and I got 2 big scoops! Chicken was super juicy!!
In closing, you can take a chance with the local places, I do sometimes as well! But when you want a for sure good meal and you want value for your money... Applebees is where it's at... At least it was for me "
