"I’m honestly pretty neutral on this restaurant.
The chicken was the standout—well-cooked, properly seasoned, and you could actually taste that it was grilled, which was a major plus.
Unfortunately, the sides didn’t match that same quality. The rice and peas were bland and lacked seasoning, the cabbage had an odd fishy flavor that was off-putting, and the plantains tasted less than fresh. On top of that, the chicken portions felt a bit small for the price.
There’s definitely potential here because the main protein was solid, but the side dishes and portion value need improvement. If those issues were addressed, I’d absolutely consider ordering again and would be comfortable recommending them to friends."

I have loved this place since the 1st time I pulled up and ate food from there and I love it more and more every time I try new items. The Guac & Chips are no exception and are without a doubt AMAZING....every time...both the chips and guacamole are consistently made fresh and delicious with lots of ingredients and flavors, AND love. It may sound like such a simple common item and something that plenty of restaurants/food trucks carry...but in my humble opinion, these are one of the best you could find around here. The taste & textures and combo of ingredients (and presentation) are just unique...and done a bit differently than other places. The chips are fresh, crunchy, and thick with lots of flavor...and the guacamole is authentic and made right with all of the proper ingredients AND correct meticulous method and tireless efforts put in to produce and serve a legit high-quality (and visually attractive and colorful) authentic Mexican guacamole.
P.S. - I didn't even know that they had this item here until I first made an order via DoorDash; you may not see it advertised on the food truck menu displayed there...but they do indeed carry it and I'm SO glad that I discovered this...as I order them EVERY time I purchase food at this place now - they are THAT good.
P.S.S. - I will say, the price is pretty expensive for what the item is.....(only thing I could complain about)...but trust me - it's worth every penny!!! I only have one thing that's bothered me which is the last two times I have ordered the gyoza (which are amazing) they have come crammed in a plastic claim shell container which has caused them to arrive less crispy than the packaging they used to use. It doesn't make them any less tasty but having eaten them before the packaging changes and know how fully amazing they truly are makes just want to say something incase it's something helpful."
