The Sweet Plantains *Platanos Maduros are prepared to perfection and it's actually difficult to find plantains that are even able to be cooked this well in NC. My only concern is with the Pork Chunks *Masas de Puerco- the dish lacks condiments. It's basically just perfectly cooked fatty pork chunks with a few sautéed onions and a ton of white rice. Black beans and some chilero(fermented vegetables) would make this one the best dishes in Asheville.
