"The Shrimp & Asada Burrito was bomb hands down! The burrito was pretty heavy and super flavorful. I would totally recommend this place for a quick bite to eat! It's a bit pricey but you do get what it's worth. "

"BABBBBYYYY! Let me tell YOU! I have been searching for amazing tacos since coming from Guadalajara! And BABY, these are the BESSTTT Super Taco AND food ive EVER HAD! They are THE HIDDEN GEM OF CALI! Omg. The Super Taco? ABSOLUTE CHEFS KISS KISS KISS LOL! They have the best cebolla (grilled onion) and they give you a mini homemade tostada shell on top of the tacos to eat taco dropping (so it'slike a free tostada after). I cannot believe they are so affordable for such top quality meats AND HOMEMADE TORTILLAS! My Tia was in awe of the food and shes 76 (reminds of her being home in Mexico, and that says alot!).
DO NOT SLEEP ON THEM! Food come fresh and hot and load of yummy rojo y verde (red and green) salsa (I use the extra on things and make and thats an extra bonus lol)!
You wont be sorry or disappointed! THANK YOU CALLE TACOS! I wish we could give them 100 stars lol!!

"This was the most generous meal I have received in my whole life. I am shocked with how much food I got for only $17. This place is perfect if you don't have a lot of money and want to get fat and happy. I love this place"
"The meat was fresh and portions are generous. The only concern... the salsas weren't very flavorful. The hot was hot, and that was about it. The mild was eh. If I get more tacos, which I will, I'll use salsa from Los Montanas, up the street.. overall, I really appreciate the fresh meat, onions, and cilantro."

"Quesabirria - No consomé or lime on side and we did get at least 2 but very good, flavorful and on handmade tortillas though a little dry; specified "with everything" on instructions and it came with fresh salsa, cilantro and onion inside
Taco (pollo) - Chicken is grilled, not shredded, not specified on menu but this is what I was hoping for! Very well seasoned but a little dry, no lime, grilled onion or jalapeno on side. The guac and handmande tortilla are great! Specified with everything and it came with guac, cilantro and onion inside.
Green Salsa - Came on side, has medium spice and very well seasoned!!! Used this to make food juicy.
Red Salsa - Came on side, spicyyy but very flavorful and love the fresh texture if you can handle the heat; no chips included!
Portion is very normal for taco sizes, great price, fresh food, would order again but might have to have my own limes"

"Most restaurants cheap out on portion sizes, but this is my second time ordering from here, and they don't cheap out at all. And the burrito is massive. The meat doesn't taste frozen; it tastes fresh.
The Super Burrito is a bit pricey, but worth the price."
"Food flavor was just okay. But the thing that really got me was I ordered chips and salsa and for almost $6 I got the tiniest individual portion of chips. Even chipotle sells their chips and salsa for cheaper and they taste better. I won't be coming back here unfortunately."

"Bay Area culture shock. That has to be it. Coming from Baja, I had a profound craving for nachos, and this was a doordash favorite. From the first bite... the beans... cinnamon? Nutmeg? "The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. I will happily order from this restaurant again! The Chilaquiles were amazing. My husband enjoyed the Dinner Enchiladas. The JAMAICA was sweet and fresh without too much sugar. Perfect!"
"My new favorite place when I'm in Hayward and craving Mexican food. I ordered the Super Shrimp Burrito and it was amazing and so huge. Everything tasted so fresh and was packed full with ingredients. The shrimp was great quality and there was plenty of it. Such a filling burrito I struggled to finish but I just had to do it and I'm not regretting it. My order came with 2 sides of salsa and a bag of chips. One of the salsas had a pretty good kick of spice but the other a salsa verde was my favorite. You gotta pour it all over your burrito it's that good. I'll definitely be back for more soon unfortunately I live in Pleasanton so I can't go everyday."

"First time trying this place out
Taco Plate was really good; I ordered the Barbacoa. The meat was tender & flavorful. Super Burrito was stuffed well;got the Carne Asada/Steak.Could barely finish it after the tacos. Got Burrito Regular for my mother, and she enjoyed it with Carnita/Pork.
The Horchata was okay, just a little too heavy on the cinnamon, but still tasty & refreshing.
The prices were affordable and the food was good quality & quantity. If I'm in the mood to get food like this, I may order some from here again in the future."

"The Fish Tacos were fantastic! They use a grilled or sautéed white fish rather than a battered and fried fish. I don't really care for the fried stuff. They come with a fresh salsa on the side.
The Flautas were really good. They were good size and come with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa on the side.

My Taco Maria taco was very good with shrimp that were cooked and tasted very good and the asada is least on point. I order here often and will keep on going back."

"I've been ordering food from here at least once a week, the first few times I did not write a review and wanted to experience how consistent the food quality was Nonetheless, the food does not disappoint! One of the best Trio Fries in the town! never got my order wrong once! Food is fresh, crispy fries, fresh meats packed with flavor. Definitely recommend!"
"Was craving for a simple Quesadilla and decided on here because of the rating number. It wasn't small, which I was worried about since this is a small, new, unestablished restaurant, and had me about 90% full. It had a lot of cheese, which I liked. The tortilla was fine and cooked through enough, but didn't have any crisp (i didn't mind, but stated for others who might want something like that). The carne asada was pretty decent.
The Mulitas was rather tasty (1st time having mulitas). I got it because I was curious and googling what mulitas are was fascinating but confusing; but it really is in between where it's harder than a tortilla, but softer than a tostada. I enjoyed the flavoring of the carne asada, as well as the other ingredients; but it did seem to need a bit extra, so the lime was well included.
Definitely with getting as it was very decent enough!"

"Consistently delicious and a great value. the Carnitas Burrito is flavorful and crispy, the Chips + Avocado Sauce + Salsa always hit, and the Kids Burrito gets eaten without complaint every time. This is in our regular rotation for a reason!"
"Found this little gem one day looking for lunch. Absolutely amazing. The best part is that it's just as great through DoorDash as in it dine in! The Quesadilla De Masa is off the charts. I have celiac and I have never been able to find anything like this other than in my own kitchen. Really appreciative of that. The Al Pastor is nothing short of spectacular! It has the perfect amount of spiciness to actually accompany the flavor, and not annihilate your taste buds so that all you can taste is heat. Even if you're vegeterian or not, get the hongos as an add on. You really won't regret/forget it!! "

"I've been to this taco truck so many times so I already knew what to expect. I have been hoping for a while that they'd get on doordash. Great flavor and normally good size Burritos (Regular). I love that you can pay for extra Salsa (because sadly you can't do that with other restaurants on here) but I just wish you could choose which ones you're getting cuz although I love spicy my health won't allow it. Packaging was great and it came with side of radish, jalapeno, and only a sprig of lime. Overall doordash experience I'd rate 8/10 which is the highest on this app for taco truck experiences I'd give"
"The burritos were great but I wish they would give more than a single salsa container per burrito. Pretty decent value when you compare to other restaurants selling burritos (it's 2026 and you have to accept the fact they're not $8-$10 anywhere anymore). The meat and beans were cooked to perfection. The rice was just a tad dry or undercooked (not sure which), but overall a good burrito."

"The de ret with the packniyrms like the chicken is to order them on the weekends when the store has a lot of traffic. The tamales were delicious, seasoned well and had good masa to filling ratio. The chicken was fresh af, seasoned well and juicy, the salsa was great, so were the fresh corn tortillas and the beans. A great value and better than fast food chicken for you."
"Legs and Thighs Chicken Bucket I ordered the Legs and Thighs Chicken Bucket, but it was given to us in a plastic bag instead of a bucket. That was a little concerning, especially with hot food sitting in plastic. My kid even mentioned BPA, which made me question the packaging choice.
The bigger issue was the chicken itself. I understand chicken can be dark, but this looked and tasted burnt — not just crispy. It had that bitter, overcooked flavor.
On a positive note, the carnitas were perfect. Flavor, texture, everything was on point. So it’s clear the kitchen can get it right.
Just hoping for better consistency and proper packaging next time."
