"NY born and raised and Joe's is probably the closest to NY/NJ Pizza I have tried in the LA area. I love all pizza but thier is a reason I still order from here after moving from Sherman Oaks to Northridge (of course I make it worth the drive with a very generous tip).

Calzone: massive disappointment. Wet dough, undercooked, and poorly balanced ingredients. Maybe a meat topping once every 3-4 bites. The rest of the time I was chewing on wet dough and a mouthful of bland cheese and sauce.
