The only thing I was kind of bummed about would be the prices for coffees. They start their small sizes off at the same pricing of every other coffee houses large/venti size. And yeah, it's good coffee, but the coffee itself is nothing special in comparison to any other coffee house (no offense to the barista's - y'all are wonderful!). The coffee bean is a great little treat, but not worth an extra $3 imo. If the pricing was at least comparable, I'd order here more often since the lines are always shorter or empty, they do have more options for muffin tops, AND they do provide more typical drink options when ordering through the delivery apps in addition to being readily available FOR delivery on the foodie apps (where as DB does not and SB is inclusive to Uber and it's sister partners only). Other than coffee costs alone (food pricing is average for all coffee houses which makes coffee pricing differences kind of confusing) - it's not a bad place. "We have frequented this Juan Colorado location (in Wilsonville) ever since we moved here in 2022!
It is interesting as we've noticed that DoorDash delivers from this location, however if we order from Juan Colorado via some of the "other popular delivery services", we receive food from the location in Beaverton off of Murray Rd & Scholls Ferry Rd/210. While we regularly frequented the Murray location when we lived in Beaverton, from a delivery perspective I don't think the food has been as good:(
Since we're creatures of habit, we typically order one of the same four to six items (the Flautas appetizer, the Albondigas soup, the Expresso Burrito and the Fajitas). We feel that the Wilsonville location is far better. It isn't temperature related as both locations deliver hot, it's HOW they each make their dishes!
A good example is the Albondigas Soup (I am obssssed with this soup)! The portion from the BV location isn't as tasty and I think they add some type of rice or soft white ingredient with less meatballs whereas the serving from WV tends to be a rich and flavorful broth, lots of meatballs and a good helping of the marinated potatoes, zucchini and carrots!! Add extra cilantro and this soup is heaven (especially when it is cold outside)!
Our only objection to Juan Colorado now (and I'm assuming it is due to inflated ingredient cost across the menu), is that "in-house", you receive one complimentary bowl of chips. A second bowl is an extra $4 where it used to be, at every Mexican restaurant), free! When you order delivery, a paper bag of chips with dinner is $12 at every location!!
The service at both locations is always friendly and welcoming and the whole staff works very hard!

I would still dine here over some other alternatives!

I got the chorizo and eggs, despite expecting a burrito (my own mistake, not their fault) what was delivered was absolutely delicious; 3 eggs perfectly done, I did not specify how to cook them but they were delicious and expertly prepared! The chorizo was intensely flavorful, more than any I've had in my life and the hash browns underneath mixed with the chorizo and salsa verde they provided (I requested it) was awesome! As one of the "more expensive" dishes on the menu it was still extremely cheap, not even $12, and a delicious surprise!
The Lengua taco came with many sides like a roasted chili and onion, I wasn't expecting that! The lengua was just slightly disappointing, it just wasn't as tender as lengua usually is but the taco was still VERY enjoyable and easily a 5 star meal!
