"So I waited for the pick up time that kept gettin pushed back, and despite being marked ready it wasn't -- they started bagging when I asked for my order at the counter. No big, was going to let that go but just got home and the bagging is a mess. And to be clear, I was careful with the bag. Rice donuts were crushed, but whatever, they're fine. Portuguese Egg Tart was dumped out of the plastic upside down, which I find gross and careless but again, meh. But both coffee buns I ordered were totally crushed, topping crumbling everywhere. Worst of all, the morning bread is just a pack of plain rolls??? That's not at all what the menu description says. It's supposed to be connected rolls sliced in half with cream and jam. I have a bag of plain milk rolls which is a different item... I won't be back, way too expensive for all this to be such a mess."

Today we got an Chopped Antipasto Classic Italian Chef Salad, which was very tasty, but only comes with a tiny little container of dressing, so be sure to ask for more if you like dressing with your antipasto. The lettuce could have been chopped up more, though. The peppers were a standout. They are properly skinned and had plenty of flavor.
The Roll with Butter was very good. It is a soft Kaiser style roll. We like that style compared to a typical hard Kaiser roll.
The Cheesesteak w/The Works (Whole 14") was really good, though we would have liked a bit more cheese and meat than we got. The roll it was on was pleasantly soft and fresh. The meat was flavorful and well chopped.
All-in-all, it was a good, freshly prepared meal. We'd certainly order from here again (as we have been for years)."

"The bagel nook is a great place for jam packed, delicious bagels! They have so many options to choose from. Everything tastes fresh. Only thing is, I'm not sure why they have the special instructions option if they never read it. I can never figure out how to get them to put the hashbrown on the side instead of on the Bacon & Egg Sandwich and I've tried every way possible to communicate that. Also, I recommend asking for your bacon extra crispy unless you want chewy, barely cooked bacon. And even then, they might not read the instructions and still give you chewy bits. It can be disappointing to pay $10+ for a bagel to have to remove all the bacon because it's almost inedible. All in all, they are better in person. "Classic Italian bakery. The Linzer tarts are big and impressive looking. The chocolate chip cookies aren't like the sort youd make at home. It's like a large sugar cookie with chocolate chips baked into it. The brownie is deeply chocolatey and very fudgy. I prefer this kind of brownie. If you prefer a crisp brownie, look elsewhere. The cupcakes are on the standard small size (these arent jumbo cupcakes), but they are very flavorful. The cheese danish is homemade, thought I do wish it had more filling. Still, it was also quite tasty. Everything comes packed neatly in a white cardboard box wrapped up with string. If you're in the mood for classic Italian goodies, this is a good place to go. "

"With a place named Breaking Batter, you would expect their cake batter to be a real stand out. Unfortunately, that isn't the case here. The cake was exceptionally dry. Now, I'd be willing to assume that this was a one-time overcooked issue for all 4 of the items we ordered, but even if that is the case, the cake flavors are absolutely nothing to write home about. They taste and look like someone made some cheap boxed cake mix. The strawberry cake is bright pink, but the flavor doesn't match the vibrancy. The favor is very artificial. The same is true of the vanilla cake. Given the cake is at the bottom under everything else, it means your final impression of the dessert is ruined by the carelessly made cake.
Not everything is bad, though. The toppings we tried were all really good and not very sweet. We didn't have any of the cereal toppings. The strawberry syrup was probably the stand out topping. It tastes like real strawberries and isn't cloyingly sweet. The jars are real glass, so you can cut off the plastic Breaking Batter label and reuse them. I'm happy they didn't use plastic jar bodies.
Overall, for the cost, this isn't worth your time. I sincerely wish I could say otherwise."

The beef quibe is so dry I couldn’t eat it, it crumbled down on my mouth, it was over fried.
The chicken balls are also extremely dry, even the one with catupiry. It’s like all the fillings were overcooked and nothing is moist or pleasant to bite.
The dessert don’t make it better either. The passion fruit mousse tastes like it’s made from powder juice and jelly, the texture is not moussy, yet firm, and the taste is sour but nothing like passion fruit. The coconut flan tasted like plastic, like it had been sitting on the fridge on a open container and it accumulated the taste of the fridge air. Very sad with this order, it was disastrous.
The ham and cheese croquette was good, I would say because the cheese gives that moist necessary and ham’s got natural liquid in it.
The shrimp croquette was good, and not as dry, but only 2 small pieces of shrimp on a snack bigger than my fist."
