The sesame (I think) dressing they put with the side salad is enough to make me pay-- of course they would forget to put that, and the soup , OMG amazing, no spoon today, a minor issue as I have my own spoons, but why would you not include a soon when you serve soup??
Now for the main issue, they normally pack their food in durable plastic containers, today it was in a flimsy foam container that broke the moment I tried to get it out of the bag (it's a lot of food and pretty heavy) and then proceeded to drip all over my sofa and carpet. Go back to the plastic containers.
As a side note, try new methods for your salmon, I love salmon and yours is too dry, it's almost like a consolation prize that I even ordered your salmon, so I can get that amazing salad dressing and soup.
Today, it was not worth the $40/45 I spent to get the food. Very disappointed.

"Katsu Curry Don is absolutely the worst katsu i've had ever. Barely had curry, and the katsu tasted like it was battered on fried steak breading rather than Panko or something like it. The curry tasted homemade rather than using japanase curry. I've had some katsu curry at other places here that are more like the signature taste i had while living in Japan.

"Ordered the LaCosta seafood platter for two. Was very disappointed. The taste wasn't great for any of the items, I honestly could've ordered a Filet o'fish from McDonald's and would've had a better experience as far as the fish and stuffed crab goes. The color of the crab stuffing was grayish -brown, was burnt yet soggy. Everything was very soggy, especially the onion rings and fries . The only thing I thought was somewhat good was the fried shrimp, the rice and what I think was tartar sauce, that was actually quite tasty. Overall though, we threw $65 (including delivery and tip) out in the garbage. I realize some of it may have been having fried foods delivered, maybe it might taste better eaten right away at the restaurant, but I still don't think I'd waste my money again. Not worth the risk to me as this left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. Perhaps I'll consider giving other menu items a try in the future, but not this particular dish.
