"The Tom Kha & Panang Curry are some of the best I've ever had! I love that the Tom Kha comes with rice, I love eating it over rice rather than a soup. I got medium spice on both and they came wonderfully spiced to a medium. The Panang Curry had plenty of veggies and chicken.
Now for the Papaya Salad (Lao Style) it looks amazing, but the moment I took off the lid it smelled of fermented fish sauce so bad, I took a bite and overwhelmed with fish sauce. Im sad and hoping I can add sugar and somehow fix it because it is not edible. Lastly, the Cream Cheese Wontons look so good but they're just meh, dense cream cheese not a fluffy cream cheese texture. They would be awesome if the filling was fluffy or had green onions or crab. I would not order them again.
I will definitely order their Panang Curry and Tom Kha again! "

I liked the Mushroom Chicken and the Basil Chicken.
It seemed like the Mango Chicken was breaded two times more than the actual chicken piece. (inside the breading it was small.)
*I didn't know I was supposed to order rice separately?*. I didn't get any.
The stems on the Broccoli were 3" long, "like trees", and barely steamed. (not tender). The cabbage was good.
All the portions of meat and veggies were big.
I liked the Basil Chicken & Mango Chicken.
Next time I will order some rice. Or make my own rice.

"The food was really good, the presentation difficult. The fresh spring rolls were tightly wrapped up in plastic cling wrap. The rolls themselves are wrapped in rice paper, which clings to the cling wrap, Un wrapping them really hard! They just kind of fall apart. I am sure that served in the restaurant they are fine. The pad Thai was presented as a bunch of ingredients all packed together in a box. To enjoy them properly they needed to be mixed, impossible to do in the box because the noodles are all along the bottom, just stuck there. I dumped everything into a salad bowl and was able to mix them a bit. Still, very tasty and I am sure in the restaurant, properly served, it would be fine. The curry was perfect!"

"I always order Tom yum when eating Thai and this one was a huge let down. Whatever cream or coconut milk they put in was curdled and left white chunks throughout leaving a bad texture to the soup. it was also bland and watered down flavor, super disappointing. They did put a ton of meat and vegetables in, but were of course also covered by white curdled Chucks and ruined the entire thing for me.
The Drunken Noodle (High Protein) was great, good flavor and good portions of vegetables and meat. asked for medium spicy and they got it perfectly with a nice kick.
Since I always get Tom Yum and this version is a no go for me, I will likely not be back. If you don't order the soup and based on the great Drunken noodles I would say their other options are likely to be very good."

"Chanon Thai has been one of my favorite restaurants for 20 years. They use fresh vegetables from the farmers market. The flavors are rich and sumptuous. I love all the curries, the Pad Gra Prow, and the Som Tum. But all the dishes are delicious."
"Rolls fillings are not very flavorful. However the Num Tok and 16. Larb were very good. I would say num Tok was better and Larb on the drier side. Sticky rice portion could be more considering the amount they give you, but very flavorful. Fish sauce is excellent. I always get the NUM TOK, and this was first time for the Larb (this was pork)."
