It's unlike any other cheesecake I've had. My spoon slid into it as if I were eating ice cream. It's the perfect texture and the fact that this style of cheesecake has no crust is like a dream come true. It's sweet, but just the right amount. The Southern Style Banana Pudding was packed with flavor and as soon as I opened it, the whole dining room smelled like banana candy. It is served in a jar where all the layers are visible so when I eat it, I know I'm getting a little bit of each. I was surprised with a piece of fruit here and there and it was not cloyingly sweet. Then there's the Artisan Mascarpone Tiramisu... This one is so dangerously delicious that I was planning on eating 1/2 of it and lost control. I felt disappointed that it was all gone but only because I wanted more. . Its container is squared and clear. I can see how every lady finger is soaked in espresso and covered by a heavenly creamy mascarpone that is just the right amount of sweet. It is delicately layered and its top is then covered completely with cocoa powder. I'd say this tiramisu is worth gaining weight for but that's what I'm trying not to do. As a compromise, I just enjoy it weekly. Safe to say La Petite Crème has a loyal customer here. I'm not exaggerating when I say all 3 picture-worthy desserts have made me close my eyes while I sigh. They've made me feel like I'm floating on clouds."
