However, spending $31 on the combo was not worth it. The portion sizes were disappointingly small. It looked like I barely got half a Hmong sausage, and the serving of crispy pork belly was so small that it wasn’t even enough to fully enjoy. Kapoon: The broth was flavorful, and they gave a great amount of meat! My only suggestion would be to make the shredded carrots optional. I personally never eat my kapoon with carrots, so I would prefer it without them. Other than that, it was really good!

"I love this place. My neighborhood Thai go-to. I love the green Green Curry (w/ Rice) - perfect blend of sweet, creamy, and quite a kick with Level 3 spiciness. It does come with white rice, but I also add in an extra serving of Sticky Rice because one serving alone won't do. in fact, there is enough curry for three servings of Rice, I think.

I was pretty disappointed with the pho, especially for $18. I got the rare steak and brisket, and the broth was really lacking in flavor. The brisket also had a lot of stringy fat running through basically every slice. The rare steak had a very deep red, almost liver like color that honestly didn’t look very appetizing. It tasted fine, but if you’re someone who gets turned off by how food looks, it might bother you.
The one positive was the portion size. I ordered a small and it was huge. I used the biggest bowl I had at home and still had broth left over. Overall, though, for the price I expected a much more flavorful bowl of pho. Would not order again."
