I can't get a refund cause they're free but I also want the sauces. The mac and cheese was just okay. It didn’t seem to have much seasoning—not even salt—but you can easily add your own seasoning at home. The cheese ratio was a little off too; there was more cheese on top than mixed throughout the mac and cheese itself.
I only ordered the $12 meal because I wanted to try the place first. One thing I noticed was that the chicken was mostly bones with very little meat on them. I’m not sure if that’s because I got the smaller meal or if that’s just how they serve it.
My boyfriend also got the jerk chicken with yams and rice and peas. The yams and rice and peas were good, but pretty simple.
The food definitely wasn’t nasty, but there wasn’t really a “wow” factor either. If you’re looking for something affordable and don’t mind adding a little extra seasoning to suit your taste, it’s worth trying. Overall, I’d give it a 4/10"
