Worse than having no flavor is meat tasting like meat. If I give this a 3rd try, I will do it earlier in the day or night instead of right before they close. Maybe there will be a difference. But definitely had way better at other restaurants. Not sure if I'd recommend this place for Pork Mofongo. And the sauce was vinegary instead of garlicky. Also, other restaurants gives 2 cups of sauce when this place gives only 1, which isn't enough. I could barely swallow half of it.As of now I don't recommend!"

It was sooo refreshing & delicious, I wish i purchased the bigger size. The only downfall for me was the Marinade. "I absolutely love this restaurant and have eaten here many times. I've also ordered takeout directly from them before, and the food has always been excellent. This was my first time ordering through DoorDash, and unfortunately the experience was very different from what I'm used to.
The food arrived packed all together in a single container, with no utensils, no sauces, and none of the extras they normally provide, even with regular takeout orders. The food itself was still delicious, but the packaging and attention to detail were disappointing compared to the great service I've always received in the past.
I'm not sure if this was because the order was placed through DoorDash, but I hope future delivery orders receive the same care and quality that this restaurant is known for. I'll definitely continue to support them because I truly enjoy their food."

"I spent $185 for three orders (Parrillada del Sur , Entrana , and Flan ) for pick up and it took, I'm not exaggerating, 2 hours for my order to be prepared. I was given pickup instructions for 30 minutes from time of order. I got there and waited 1 1/2 hours for it to be prepared. I've never encountered anything that bad. I was stuck waiting for the order because I'd already paid ahead of time. The staff were nice and apologetic but it seemed like a mess. It was Valentine's Day, but it's inexcusable to have such a wait for a pick up order and not communicate it.
The Parrillada del Sur was pretty good but not great. The quality of the food was uneven. Definitely not worth the long wait. The portions in general were generous for the meat but not the sides.
I cannot recommend it and will never order from there again"

"Smoked Barn of Peru is perfection! One of the best restaurants in Huntington, and perhaps the world! Consistently serving delicious food with an eye for perfection and quality. My wife and I eat here several times a month and sometimes we bring a group of people, so they can taste food made with heart, soul and love.
