"The honey glazed "build a bowl" was INCREDIBLE! I chose udon noodles, chicken, and broccoli, then added cashews. OMG!! My new favorite meal! I'm seriously planning to use that to meal prep--I can get two, maybe even 3, lunches from one order. The dumplings were a treat, with just the right punch of jalapeño. The chocolate cake was palatable, but pretty dry and unremarkable. I guess when you're that good at the main meal, dessert isn't a priority. "I tried to cancel my order on DoorDash after reading reviews from this restaurant but was unable to. It looked good, smelled good but after my first bite it tasted like dried out mystery meat. There was only 2 halve pieces of broccoli. All I ate was the rice and the egg role. Bottom line almost $30...including Door Dash fees... worth of food went in the trash...ugh I do not recommend Mei's Mei's restaurant "

"First time trying from this place- i love open style bao's and was so happy this place was close enough to deliver. All our food came very well packed/sealed as well! Good portions- not too large but not to small either, just right for us! Pictured above is just the Gua Bao Pork (2), but i also got the Gua Bao Tofu(2). Both were tasty, tho I actually thought the tofu had a bit more punch of flavor! It was really good dipped in the hoisin sauce (i think that's what it was at least lol). Sauce had a bit of a heat, but man it really was SOOOO good with the bao. Milk tea was also flavorful but not too sweet either- was thicker than I expected but it was a welcome texture imo. Helped cool off my tastebuds from the hoisin sauce. The Tempura Cheese Cake was also a nice little dessert- tasted a lot like funnelcake! Good to eat/share with a friend or partner. Only itty bitty 'complaint' is that I didn't get a straw for my boba drink, but really im nit picking with that. Otherwise great food and great delivery service- wil be ordering again! :)"

"This restaurant is everything! Every dish with meat is tender. The broth from the soups are perfection and so flavorful. The wonton soup is the best I've ever had in Texas. I'm surprised they don't charge more for the portion that they provide. It is generous portion, but most of all the dishes are combined beautifully,, not heavily sauced. The meat and vegetables are cut perfectly to size. When they serve their pepper steak, they don't put gigantic cuts of peppers and onions,.proportioned perfectly and just the right amount of everything. I usually have an Asian restaurant that I stick to and I ordered the same thing. This is the first restaurant that I truly want to continue to keep ordering different things because everything I keep trying is almost better than the last one that I had. Go try it and you'll see what I mean.. it's a great find! The interior of the restaurant maybe a bit older, but it doesn't matter. The food is delicious! "
