The plantains were not fresh. They were extremely hard, rubbery and very very dry. It tasted like it had been fried in extremely old oil as well. I had to spit it out and throw it out. I had given this place a little bit of a break and decided to try them again. I'll give them another break for a while. It doesn't seem like the owner is doing the cooking right now."

The food presentation was good. The flavor is what took it downhill. Some may like the flavor. To me, it tastes like old cooking oil. Even the waffle tastes bad. The lemon pepper tastes like the cheap brand of lemon pepper along with the burnt or old cooking oil taste. The potatoe wedges also tastes horrible that's how I know it's the oil. I am happy I tried the place but unfortunately I wasted around $30. I always tip the dasher very well. So total paid out was $50. This is what I get for not cooking."

I'm basically done with taco bell at this point. I don't know who is instructing employees to skimp on cheese when you are already spending $6+ per taco... but they should be fired. This has been an on going problem even before renovations at this location. foolishly i assumed they would do their best for the re-opening, but every time I order from this location on wade green I am always massively disappointed. I will end this review on a good note.. for the first time in years I got a Baja blast that wasn't watered down to hell and back. I guess if I want some cheap tacos I'll just have to go to del taco from now on.
