"Absolutely the "go-to" spot (the other Mr G locations as well) for middle -East menus in Seattle. A clean well-lighted place with a fresh and aromatic take on our faves: shawarma, gyros, falafel, kebab.
On the side the tzatziki and hummus are tangy and very fresh. The pita is always today's and is in a sweet spot between earthy/grain-ey and chewy, picking up the mix of flavors in the sandwich (plates are great too but I always end up making little sandwiches so good to order the extra pita or two).
Altogether delicious and (if your eyes aren't TOO much bigger than your stomach!) filling but not something you need to take a nap after. There's a lot of hype out there about restaurants but this one is sure fire. Most highly recommended. Sometimes items are a little burnt, but they've never been inedible or tasted bad. I definitely prefer burned to undercooked, so, really, this could be a plus.
The churros are pretty tasty and have plenty of cinnamon and sugar on them, although every now and then I get a order that's weirdly chewy.
