"Pretty disappointed in the cost and portion of the Chicken adobo “shareable” I ordered through DoorDash. Just opened it up and for $18.50 I got 3 Chicken Drumsticks and maybe 3-4 tablespoons of sauce. No chunks of potato/no chunks of onion. Just chicken drumsticks and sauce. Thats it. In the menu it’s labeled as “shareable”. I was hoping it came with white rice as well since the price was $18.50 for this but it didn’t. The sauce is what makes adobo and it’s barely there. Its flavor is almost nonexistent because there’s so little sauce… basically wet cooked chicken drumsticks with no rice☹️. Very disappointing first impression. I’ll stick to Pinoy Classics, Yma-Ymas, Isla Detroit, or Filipinas for Filipino food I guess. It’s cheaper in cost, larger in portion size, and most provide rice with the order not as a separate charge or a side. My Filipina wife was also disappointed when she saw what I got. My wife ordered the Pork Sinigang Shareable and this, although a little more expensive, was a lot better for portion size. It was good tasting and we both were able to share a decent amount of it. The sourness was great and the amount of chunks of meat (with the fat on) was good. Can’t say anything about the establishment itself or the people that work there as I have not dined in."
