The matcha cheesecake was probably the highlight of my meal they really blended the flavors and texture perfectly. My problem? it is astonishingly small. Its practically miniature. The Seared Eel with Miso Cream Cheese is a must-order; the eel sauce paired with the miso cream cheese feels light on your tongue, but packed with flavor. The Salmon Toro* melts in your mouth (to the right of the Southern Bluefin Toro* in the photo) and the Seared Salmon Toro* is a slightly tougher but smoky bite. The Southern Bluefin Toro* was great, but be mindful that it only comes with one piece as shown in the photos.
I hadn't tried Fried Takoyaki before, but the creamy octopus filling was unlike anything I'd ever tasted. It's a solid hot dish if you like something milder in flavor.
