the beef kabob plate was great. beef kebab is standard like other middle eastern restaurants. they use very long grain basamati rice. very nice and authentic. pita bread is thick and fluffy. i like this kind of pita bread compared to the drier ones that look like tortillas.
the kabob plate is decently filling. maybe a bit expensive at $23. maybe $15 is more in line with the amount you get. but its very well made so maybe $18 tops. but thats just my opinion."

"Living in Glendale, I am familiar with Mediterranean food and all that it has to offer. I rarely give reviews but felt compelled to write this one because of how impeccably good this food is. I got the grilled salmon platter. Ordinarily, I have gotten a platter just like this from other places with serving sizes that were moderate to decent. The serving size is incredibly generous. The rice, salmon, and tabouleh were all well flavored and paired nicely with one another. Everything was tasty but I really want to place emphasis on the rice for sec; it is absolutely DELICIOUS. Some places treat rice as a blank canvas, but this rice could be a star all on its own! If you haven't given this place a try, do yourself a favor; you get more than a bang for your buck. "It's a cold Wednesday evening, I am sitting in my car, waiting for my meeting to start while my stomach growls at me---begging for care in the form of delicious warm food. As I scroll through the abundant options on this app, my eyes are stolen by the colorful displays of food from Patar Shawarma.  so I said to myself, "this looks good", and placed an order, thinking that it was just another shawarma place in Glendale that was going to do the job of shutting my stomach up. But I was mistaken. When I finally got my order, I opened the chicken Shawarma plate and was immediately greeted by the aroma of a grill. I began to indulge. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice, serving as a plain and simple pallet cleanser. The fresh garden salad, as if it was picked from the Garden of Eden. The grilled potatoes, ohhh how warm, soft, and salty they were. And last but not least, the side of pickles so fresh that it reminds you of your Soviet grandma taking out a glass jar of her basement stored pickles. To wash it down, I got a Mexican coke because natural sugar cane tastes so good. "First thing that caught me when I took the bag from the Dasher was the yummy aroma of the Crispy Saffron Rice Cake with Braised Chicken & Barberries. I was like, yeah, this is going to be good. The food container was wrapped with a lovely decorative paper ribbon. Nice touch! When I opened the container, I was greeted with a beautiful paper wrapping (see my photo). Nice presentation! When I opened the wrapper there stood a beautiful Crispy Saffron Rice Cake with Braised Chicken & Barberries. (See photos). Amazing presentation!! Tje cake was gorgeous! The flavor was good---you can taste the spices listed in the description. The crusty rice was nice! I added a little bit of salt and it was really good. As I started eating I felt like I should have gotten tomato and cucumber salad to add a little acid and balance out the richness of the meal (I know, I sound like some Food TV chef x-D, but for me it was true). So I cut up a vine tomato, salted it and ate it with the food and it was really tasty to me. The rice cake may look "small" but once you cut it open you see it's a generous portion--I could not finish it. Also delicious was the Pistacho Baklava. I will definitely order again. And if you're into minimal waste, you'll like their packaging and the wooden utensils. I like actual flatware (hard plastic or metal) so next time I'll say no utensils. "
