They put lots of good quality cheese on top and the baked ziti is baked into the whole dish. I took a picture of the cross section so you can see the layering. You can also ask them to send the pasta in a separate dish if you don't like everything touching which is awesome that they customize this for picky folks (and kids).
I also got the fried cauliflower and had it sent with their Buffalo sauce and ranch. Their Buffalo sauce wasn't my fav, but it worked perfect for what I wanted. (It was more sweet and tangy when I was expecting spicy and vinegary.)
