I've been going to Baladi for years but haven't in a while so seeing the size of the kabab and the the rice portion was shocking. The greek salad had 2 pieces of onions, 1 tomato cube, and barely any cheese. The potatoes and rice used to be over flowing before. This is my last order. I will not be returning. Might as well have gotten fast food with a side and a drink. Actually hurts to have spent money today and I dislike feeling this way about food."

"I ordered the Large Mix (Shawarma & Donair), and the portion size was nowhere near what I would expect from a “large” plate. The serving was extremely small, and honestly, I don’t think the amount of food I received would even qualify as a regular mixed plate at most shawarma restaurants.
Don’t be fooled by the menu photos, they make the portions look generous, but what you actually get is very disappointing. I paid $29.99 for the Large Mix, and the plate came with only two small pieces of potato lol.
I’ve tried shawarma from many places across Canada, and this was by far one of the worst experiences when it comes to portion size and value for money. The taste was okay, not bad but nothing special either. The food did not match the price or the expectations set by their menu.
I won’t be ordering from here again. Definitely not worth the money. See it for yourself i guess, but definitely wont be coming back.
