"They got everything correct in the order! This seems to happen only when I order a late night delivery. The 2 Cookies were warm! The Choc Milkolate was nice and cold. The large Coke was good and the cup was even clean -- no spills. The Hamburger was hot. All around good job! And my dasher was super nice and followed the instructions. I'm not sure that I like the 4 Piece McCrispy™ Strips Meal strips themselves. They are better than the nuggets but the seasoning is a little odd. The store did actually give me the sauces I asked for so that was really good since I didn't like the strips on their own. As always, the chocolate chip 13 Cookie Tote was AWESOME. Nice and warm. "I’ve eaten here before, and unfortunately, this visit was just as disappointing. I ordered the Memphis ribs, and they were dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in flavor. They didn’t have the smoky, tender, fall-off-the-bone quality you’d expect from good barbecue.
The mashed potatoes were awful. They were thick, hard, and full of potato skins, with an unpleasant texture that tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. The macaroni and cheese had almost no cheese flavor at all—it was bland and forgettable. To make matters worse, the gravy tasted like collard greens had been mixed into it. If that’s intentional, it should be listed on the menu because it completely ruined the mashed potatoes.
As someone who knows Southern cooking, this is nowhere close to authentic Southern food. It lacks the seasoning, soul, and flavor that Southern barbecue is known for. It honestly tastes like it was made by people who don’t understand what real Southern comfort food is supposed to be.
The biggest disappointment is the price. I spent nearly $100, and the quality wasn’t even close to matching what they charge. The food was overpriced, bland, and simply not worth the money.
I won’t be going back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Southern barbecue."
