I ordered the Brown Bag Lunch Combo and checked sliced ciabatta but I received a rustic sourdough. I get that things run out, so I guess this dry as a dessert bread has to do. The base amount for this combo is $22.95. I paid an extra $3.00 for extra meat. I did request two different types of meat but they literally take a slice (maybe two...but that's stretching it) and tear it apart and layered it, so when you looked at it from the front it looked like about six slices. It was barely close to two slices. When you open the sandwich the slice was torn into pieces and layered that way. The honey ham didn't taste like honey ham. At least the honey turkey had the slight honey flavor. The cheese is the two thinnest slices they could possibly have done. At least those were full slices. It had two tiny slices of tomatoe and not even a full ring of red onion. It was like half a ring cut into three teeny tiny slices. The drink was lukewarm. I asked for utensils because I am moving and my utensils are not unpacked yet but they didn't bother to send them. The cookie is ok for a prepackaged cookie. The star of the show was the tofu salad. That at least was flavorful and a decent side dish amount. They used to serve these huge sandwiches with a good amount of meat but apparently not anymore. I won't order from here again. I don't need to spend $26.00 on a cheap and poorly made sandwich. Togo's could have done better, and that's not a compliment."

"Oh my LAWD. Do not hesitate, this stuff is delicious. The Potato Tostones are very shareable, and freaking delicious, it'd take me over an hour to make these myself. The Breakfast Toast is quite good, nice THICC bread (I got the one with black sesame). As you bring it to your mouth you get a little citrus scent, then it has a little kick. If you're a light eater you may want to share this one too. The Ube Cream Scone was very pretty, felt a bit soft, but I haven't tried it yet since I'm working on all this food! Really tasty, this might be my new favorite weekend breakfast spot. They had a QR code encouraging you to order direct from their site so maybe try that, looks like they're a small business!"

2-23-24: I’ve been trying different sandwich shops (Mr Pickles, and Erik’s Deli), today I will try THE SANDWICH SPOT. I’ve placed many orders with Mr Pickles {over 20 times since 1-17-24}, and once with Erik’s Deli. All three of these locations are close proximity to each other and I’ve written reviews for both Mr Pickles and Erik’s Deli and posted on Door Dash. All three shops have similar items and some differences. The most recent establishment I tried and left a review for was Erik’s Deli Cafe on 2-20-24
This is my first time ordering from The Sandwich spot.Today I ordered #16 The Shark Tank {Hot Turkey, avocado, bacon, bomb sauce,and cream cheese} on Swirl Rye with Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, Mustard, Onions. In addition to the sandwich I ordered the Potato Salad, and a bag of chips. Unlike Mr Pickles or Erik’s Deli, there isn’t any discount offered for their sandwich order. My first time ordering from The Sandwich Spot and total for my order was $ 31.00 which is slightly higher than the other two places for the same amount of items. Mr Pickles has a similar sandwich called the Julie Bird ($16.59) which I’ve tried and is really good it was my first time ordering from them on 1-17-24 and I was happy with them and have ordered over 20 times already. Erik’s Deli cafe similar sandwich The Pilgrim ($20.18).
#16 Shark Tank: Let me start by saying cream cheese on a sandwich is so good :) . Not a lot of meat on the sandwich, almost more filler ingredients than the meat : ( Rye bread taste good and is soft and fresh but I’m not ordering the bread alone. Sandwich was wrapped beautifully nicely done and wrapped with foil and paper.
Potato Salad (1 Pint): Larger size than Mr Pickles potato salad and price comparison is a much better deal for not much more money ($4.49 vs $3.49) you get a 1/2 pint more for $1.00 more when ordering from The Sandwich Spot : ).Looking at the packaging it doesn’t appear to be larger, appears to be same size.Nice flavors and nice pieces of potato.Erik’s Deli Cafe sells theirs for $6.99 for a Regular and $8.49 for a Large. The regular at Erik’s Deli Cafe is smaller than the Potato Salad at Mr Pickles. Prepared previously with an expire date label 2/27.
Over all review of The Sandwich spot is that the sandwiches are good and made pretty well, potato salad is a GREAT DEAL, the price is a little bit higher than Mr Pickles for ordering same/similar order, and definitely better value and price comparison than Erik’s Deli Cafe. I will try several more orders as they have a pretty good size menu

"The carne asada tacos were really good. Very small but you can't expect much for $3. They do use a lot of meat which compensates for the size. Bought one taco of carnitas to see how they tasted but the meat looked like it was sitting around for a long time and was very tough. Their orange chili is great and any taco is meaningless without a great salsa. It made my taco surpass the standard taco flavor. One last thing I hate to add in but they are extremely bad on the amount of onion and cilantro they put on their tacos. You would think they would cheat you on the protein since it's more expensive than onion and cilantro but this stuff makes the taco and I don't like a taco without an abundance of both! Finally the strawberry horchata, never had one before but I know what regular horchata is. I must say it was very tasty with a great flavor that tasted healthy. Although when I got to the end of the drink it started getting gritty but overall yes, I would order it again. A choice companion to accent the carne asada tacos!
