"The Breakfast burger was next level! when I saw that it included Italian sausage I expected like one sausage, maybe cut in half, but this roll was filled with slices of at least two type of sausage- there was definitely a mild chicken type and a slightly spicy beef or pork type, and because they were sliced you get a bit of sausage in each bite. "I love this place. The Margherita pizza is really fresh with the most perfect, velvety tomato base I've had outside of Brooklyn, and luscious cheese. I recommend adding the buffala - if you're having pizza for dinner you may as well double down on the delicious. A lot of similar places around Perth look good but tend towards overcooking the pizzas so you end up with the wrong texture and unable to taste anything other than charcoal. The only negative with Il Locale is the type of pies they make don't travel that well. They get cold fast and with cooling comes that weird reversal when the dough becomes increasingly soggy and the cheese increasingly firm. I'm only 6 minutes from the restaurant and it's still a thing. I should get off my butt and go sit in the restaurant (totally offers good vibes) but when I just *can't* I am still delighted with my pizza even if the 'middle pizza zone' ingredients have all traded consistencies. The only reason I gave the Piggy a thumbs down is my partner said he didn't like the meat or soggy middle. To which I say he should have ordered a Margherita and appreciated that he doesn't have to get off the couch. You can't please everyone. But I'm delighted he's being precious - more leftovers for me. Hooray! Thank you Il Locale for a tasty pizza pie I very much enjoyed on my sofa in my moment of need!"

I want beef sausages fried and cut into chunks, I want chicken to have visible striation so I can tell it wasn't minced and reformed. I want cured meats that are of similar quality to what every average Joe would cook with rather than bulk bought slop. Do any of the cooks here even eat their own recipes without adjustments? I get that many kebab shops stoop to mass producing slop but I thought this place did small servings with more attention to detail to make up for it. The panini's certainly gave that impression but I suppose loaded fries are just to bulk up orders with the cheap stuff in service of that profit margin. I barely ate this food while starving, and I'm left feeling like I just paid money for a wholly bad experience. I'm still hungry and I refuse to scrape up that final fork worth of meat because it's so gross. Midnight munchies left me legitimately sad because of this showing, thanks"
