"I only ordered the lentil soup at Vivel because I was stuck at work with a broken-down car, absolutely desperate for a mocha, and it felt a little odd to just order a drink. The soup was reasonably priced, so I added it almost as an afterthought — and then it completely stole the show.
From the first spoonful, it was incredibly flavorful, with a depth and warmth that tasted slow-simmered and carefully layered rather than thrown together.
