"My go-to dishes are the chicken tikka masala and the paneer palak. I tried the lamb palak this time and it was good and the lamb was tender and moist with no gaminess. But I think I like the paneer better because it adds to the creaminess. Being able to add a side of tikka masala sauce for half the price is also a win because once you start dipping the nan, you always want more sauce!"

Tell me there's better Indian food for delivery in the South Bay, and I will fight you! :) The Chicken Tikka Masala is flavorful and creamy with just the right amount of heat (tip: choose Mild if you're at all sensitive). I tried the Chicken Tala Gosht for the first time tonight and chef's kiss! I have no idea what complex blend of spices is in there, but it's making me very happy. "The chicken kabob family meal is tasty and fills you up, but doesn't leave you with a heavy feeling. The Greek Mediterranean salad is simple, yet tasty. My husband also really enjoyed the lamb kabobs. The flat iron steak was a little dry for his liking (requested medium prep). I do wish that some pita, tatzika, lemon wedges were included with the meal vs. being separate charges.
We had an unexpected food quality issue with the salad in our last order which I'll speak directly with them about, however, generally speaking our orders from here are as expected and we usually have enough food to have a second meal from leftovers."

"First thing that caught me when I took the bag from the Dasher was the yummy aroma of the Crispy Saffron Rice Cake with Braised Chicken & Barberries. I was like, yeah, this is going to be good. The food container was wrapped with a lovely decorative paper ribbon. Nice touch! When I opened the container, I was greeted with a beautiful paper wrapping (see my photo). Nice presentation! When I opened the wrapper there stood a beautiful Crispy Saffron Rice Cake with Braised Chicken & Barberries. (See photos). Amazing presentation!! Tje cake was gorgeous! The flavor was good---you can taste the spices listed in the description. The crusty rice was nice! I added a little bit of salt and it was really good. As I started eating I felt like I should have gotten tomato and cucumber salad to add a little acid and balance out the richness of the meal (I know, I sound like some Food TV chef x-D, but for me it was true). So I cut up a vine tomato, salted it and ate it with the food and it was really tasty to me. The rice cake may look "small" but once you cut it open you see it's a generous portion--I could not finish it. Also delicious was the Pistacho Baklava. I will definitely order again. And if you're into minimal waste, you'll like their packaging and the wooden utensils. I like actual flatware (hard plastic or metal) so next time I'll say no utensils. "

The Yemenite Soup is to die for. The flavors are rich and layered and the meat is melt in your mouth tender. I could live on this soup, and I suppose I do.
