I ordered the Crunchy Tostada Salad and The Diablos Burrito. I am yet to get to the burrito, but I can confidently say this is the best Crunchy Tostada Salad I have eaten in LA so far. The portion was HUGE and the vegetables, guacamole and the sour cream...so fresh! And the chicken...oh my god...so flavourful and infinitely delicious. The sauces were also divine and just extraordinarily flavourful.
It's safe to say that Diablos Tacos Mexican Grill is the best Mexican food I've eaten in LA so far. Freida's doesn't even come close.

"Honestly, I really wanted to support this place because I think they have a really good thing going on. I like what theyâre trying to do with organic food, and I understand that running a business is hard. Thatâs actually why I wanted to leave an honest review instead of just writing the place off.
The last time I ordered a meal, it came with two pancakes. Thereâs an option to substitute the regular pancakes for gluten-free pancakes for an extra charge, which I paid. When my order arrived, I got ONE gluten-free pancake instead of the two pancakes that came with the meal. Nothing anywhere said that if you choose gluten-free, youâre going to pay more and get less food. I honestly thought it was just a mistake.
Then there was the horchata coffee. The order gives you milk options, so I selected oat milk and was charged extra for it. Nobody told me that the horchata already comes made with whole milk. So I paid extra for a milk substitution that apparently wasnât even possible. Again, I thought maybe it was just a misunderstanding.
So I decided to give them another chance and ordered again. This time, they actually called me and explained that the horchata already had whole milk in it and refunded me for the almond milk I selected. I will give them credit for that. They were nice enough to call, explain it, and refund the charge.
But then the rest of the order was a mess.
I ordered one pancake for myself and one for my coworker. They sent both pancakes stacked on top of each other in ONE box. No utensils. One syrup. The horchata latte came with NO STRAW.
And then one of the pancakes was burnt and tasted like straight skillet. It looked nothing like the pancake I received the last time. The other pancake had corn on it, which was a problem because my coworker has a slight corn allergy.
At this point, Iâm honestly just sitting here looking crazy because Iâm the one who recommended this place to my coworker.
Iâm not writing this review because I think theyâre a bad business or because I donât appreciate what theyâre trying to do. I actually think they have a really good concept, and I understand that things happen. But when you have multiple small issues happening across multiple orders, eventually it becomes frustrating for the customer.
The positive way Iâm choosing to look at this is that these are things the business can actually look into and improve. Better communication about substitutions and ingredients, making sure portions match whatâs advertised, checking orders before they go out, making sure utensils and condiments are included, and just paying a little more attention to consistency could make a huge difference.
Iâve tried to support this place because I genuinely like what theyâre doing. Some of this review is definitely negative, but Iâm hoping they take it as constructive criticism rather than an attack. Iâd rather see them fix these things and succeed than see them lose customers over issues that are honestly pretty easy to address.
I wish them the best and hope they take some of this feedback into consideration, because I do think they have something good going here."
