I ordered the Cheese Quesadilla with Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo, Lettuce, and Guacamole. It was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was huge! In addition to the Quesadilla, I also ordered the Enchiladas Combo, which came with a side of Refried Beans and Brown Rice. I added an extra side of Pico de Gallo and received two side orders of Green Mild Sauce, which had just enough kick for those who can't handle too much spice. The portions were so generous that I had enough leftovers for both lunch and dinner the next day. What impressed me the most was that despite ordering through DoorDash, the food was prepared and delivered hot, as if I were dining in the restaurant. The only thing I would have loved to see on the menu was a side of Black Beans, but even without it, Miguel’s Mexican Grill remains the best Mexican food spot on Long Island. I've tried many places across Suffolk County, and no one can compare to the quality and quantity of food you get here, along with such amazing prices. They truly aim to please their customers."

It's definitely not the same as the West and way more expensive (use to $1.50-2 for a street taco), but this joint in particular gives you a ton of food per dish. Flavor wise, each dish has quite a bit of flavor and would definitely order everything again. Only complaint I can really say is that the queso is just a smige watered and the order could use more chips (ordered both the queso and guac with chips), but those are both super minor complaints. "1st time trying Taco Island so I was a bit unfamiliar with the menu. Ordered Taco De Birria but picture showed 3 tacos. It was positively delicious but there was only ONE taco - so be aware! If you want 3 you need to order 3! Same with Beef & Cheese Empanadas - it may be plural on menu but you only get ONE- - so order accordingly. It looked beautiful but was mushy paste on the inside- not a fan. Queso & Chips Reg & Guac & Chips Reg were fine- nothing special. Pollo Asado (Chicken) Quesadilla was tasty & really well made & packaged. I will order again & try other items. Will definitely reorder the Taco De Birria but next time X 3!"
