"I've ordered from here many times, tried a lot of dishes and everytime it is flawless! really great curry and lots of great sides. but my favorite part is they're open late! must try the Lamb Vindalo if you don't mind spiciness"
"Palak Paneer is my go to--it's the best I've found. It has so much flavor, lots of paneer and such good texture. It's my favorite comfort meal! I tried the Karahi Prawn this go round and there was so mich shrimp, good spice! They're open late so it's my favorite comfort meal after the bar meal with a good amount of leftovers for the next day!"

"Chicken Tikka Masala, Samosa (2pcs) and the Garlic Naan were all cooked perfectly and well seasoned, incredible food especially for when I ordered it (I work overnights so my options are limited)"
"Excellent Chicken Biryani (although it was too spicy for me to finish). The spiciness is hardly the restaurant's fault, and I should have requested a milder level of heat. Nevertheless, the dish was obviouly well-prepared and flavorful with a good amount of boneless chicken for the price. I also enjoyed the Daal and Onion Naan . I loved that my food was still hot when it arrived! I will definitely order from Naan n' Curry again!"

"One of the driest chicken kebabs ever, felt like a desert exploded in my mouth. Thankful that the portion for the kebab was small because I didn't want to eat it all. The biryani was a large portion with a reasonable amount of goat, but the flavor was not a hit for me. Most likely will not order again."

4 Dreams Nepali & Indian cuisine

"I recently tried the Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set at 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine, and it was a great experience overall.
The Chicken Momo lapping was the highlight. The momos were soft, juicy, and well stuffed with flavorful minced chicken. The “lapping” style, covered in a rich, slightly spicy sesame based sauce, added a creamy and tangy kick that made the dish stand out. The sauce was balanced not too spicy, but enough to give a nice warmth. The portion size was generous and perfect for sharing, although I could easily finish it myself because it was that good.
The Khana set felt like a complete and comforting meal. It came with rice, dal, vegetable curry, chicken curry, achar, and salad. The rice was fresh and fluffy. The dal was simple yet comforting, with a homestyle Nepali flavor. The chicken curry was tender and well cooked, with spices blended nicely without being overpowering. The achar added the perfect spicy and tangy contrast to the meal. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, just like traditional Nepali home cooking.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely recommend 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine for anyone craving authentic Nepali and Indian food, especially their Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set. I will definitely be going back again."
"The Dahl Tadka tasted like thickened grease fat from the bottom of the pan, like you would use to make buskits and gravy. It had no flavor other than fat and salt. I ordered two in hopes that it would be great, but couldn't eat either of them.
I have never had such an experience with any Indian Dahl dish before .
The soup was very tasty and the broth flavorful. I hoped to have it mild as I was recovering from surgery and was supposed to avoid spicy food. I'll order the soup again when I'm feeling better"

"Veg. Jhol Momo (8 Pieces) , Paneer Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Korma (Contains Dairy/nuts) were very tasty. Veg. Biryani was reason I ordered from this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Has a little kick. When I order again I'd get an extra side of raita. The side that came with the rice was quite small. "
"Lamb chops were completely pink on the inside and tasted raw. I had to spit it out immediately. It was also very chewy. And portion sizes were very small given the price (about $28 but portions were worth maybe $17-18; even that may be generous).
I will not be ordering from here again."

"Absolutely loved this place! It’s family-owned and you can taste the love and care in every bite. The food was incredibly fresh, and the flavors—just wow. The chicken came with a spicy sauce that was an absolute explosion of flavor, the kind that lingers in the best way. The naan was perfectly soft and buttery, great for scooping up all the extra sauce from the generous Chicken Tikka Masala, which was rich, creamy, and easily enough to satisfy two people. This is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend! Even spoke with owners daughter to share how amazing it was! Thank you! "

"Classic Chicken Curry was very good! Lots of chicken in there. Veg Veg Samosa was also very good! The mint chutney sauce was delicious."
"This was the blandest Indian food I've ever had and was not cheap.
I was excited when I opened the naan, as it was hot, soft, and apparently fresh, but that's where my happiness ended.
The palak paneer was super watery and slid right off the naan, and the tandoori chicken was woefully underseasoned, though I will say it was juicy and otherwise prepared well.
I won't be ordering from here again."

"I ordered Veg tikka masala and Goat Curry.
The vegetables were well cooked, they tasted very fresh (crisp green beans, cauliflower, thinly sliced zucchini, and fine carrots). The sauce was a little bland.

Coconut Chutney was bland.

Quite Authentic to my Memory"
"Benne masala Dose was so greasy - oil dripping from the dosa. Seemed like the dosa was deep fried.
Extra Vada (1Pc) was stale
I've tried Idly Express elsewhere and it was decent but clearly food chains in Berkeley have a reputation for charging higher for worse quality of food. Wouldn't order again."

"This is my favorite Indian food in the area. I always order the Chicken Tikka Masala "SPICY". Flavor is consistent every time I order, food quality is great, and good portion size for the cost. "

If you're looking for an authentic Indian dining experience, look no further than Noor! From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting ambiance, combined with the aroma of rich spices, transports you straight to India.
The food was exceptional! The dishes were velvety and bursting with mouthwatering flavors. The biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, the decadent desserts had just the right amount of sweetness, and the presentation was beautifully executed. Every dish was cooked to perfection, using high-quality ingredients and traditional homemade techniques.
The service was equally impressive--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff made excellent recommendations, ensuring we had the best experience possible.
With generous portions, reasonable prices, and an unforgettable dining experience, this place is a must-visit for Indian food lovers. Can't wait to return! Highly recommend!"
"Quality ingredients and complex flavors. Butter Chicken is good but spicier than most places. If they had a lunch special I would order from here all the time. There's not really a way to get lunch here without getting food for 3+ people. I hope at some point they'll have some offerings for people who work in the neighborhood!"

"The Chicken Tikka Masala is always my go to. It never disappoints from the flavor to the tenderness in the chicken. I also ordered a chicken Biryani to try. Besides the pieces of cardamom pod in the Biryani it was also very delicious."

"Wow! We've had some pretty subpar Indian on Door Dash and this is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I called to ask if they could make the Aloo Gobi extra spicy and it was perfect. The Samosa Chaat was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet and the Chicken Tikka Masala was everything you'd want it to be.
The portions were smaller than expected, but I would much rather have quality over quantity. Will happily be ordering again! "
"Veggie Pakora (6pc) fell apart really easily and were a little dry and not super crunchy. Naan was tough and chewy. Rice was luke warm. The amount of chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala and the portion of Dal Makhani was pretty small, however, they tasted great!!"

"Absolutely incredible flavor on the tandoori fish and the wings (5-6) that were also tandoori flavor. "
"The food was very good, especially the Lahori chickpeas and onion naan. I used to visit the now-closed Bismillah in San Pablo and read that this was the same group. It’s not exactly the same, though I preferred the naan and chickpeas here.
The lamb chops were overcooked and missing their rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was excellent. The medium spice needed more heat. but not enough to warrant ordering spicy. The San Pablo Bismallah doesn't give a choice but it was always perfect for my taste. if I go in and order that may be something I can work out. not their fault. My biggest issue was the yogurt-like coating on the meat, which changed the texture and reduced the tandoori char. I preferred the chicken at the old Bismillah.
The shop is great, with a fresh meat counter, good products, and lovely staff. I’d return, but may order different meat dishes."

"The Fish Tandoori was moist and flavorful. I asked them not to make my food spicy and they complied. The food portions were generous and a big plus. I will order from The House of Curries again!"
"One of our dishes we ordered extra spicy (was great!) and the other was mild (came a bit too spicy). I called the store, not to complain, just to let them know. The employee immediately offered a full refund- I said not necessary- and he insisted they bring a milder version TO MY HOME! It came to my door within 15 minutes, was hot, fresh and delicious! I couldn't believe that kind of customer service! I will patronize this place for all Indian cuisine in the future! Best customer service in Oakland! Thank you so much! "

"the Lamb Rib Chops are out of this world. Absolutely phenomenal, melt in your mouth perfection. Chicken Tikka Masala is also quite good - different from others I've had, unique brand of spices but very very tasty and great texture. very generous portion of Rice. Naan has a sourdough tang, which isn't my preference but my husband loved it. Overall excellent, highly recommend."
"Long term Ajanta fan. While I still love their flavorings/spice, I feel that, at least on take out, they've fallen off their game. Big variability in content of portions in terms of the amount of meat in curries, biryani's. Sometimes it's reasonable, but other times there's been lots of curry sauce, but few solid ingredients; lamb biriyani has been plenty of rice, but quite skimpy on lamb (and it's tougher than it used to be--possible cheaper cut). Would love to see them regain their old high quality."
