"This is my go-to for a healthy-ish meal. Good flavor, nice chicken, lots of veggies: peppers, onions & zucchini. And not too much rice. Pretty skimpy on the rice, actually - but that's probably a good thing. That's where most of the calories and carbs would come from. They should fix their programming - as it makes you choose one of either No Sauce or Extra Sauce, so if you just want it the way it would normally come - you can't order that. I LOVE the fact that they really are a duplicate of the OG Pinchos from PR, except it doesn't include the bread but with these Pinchos, the meat is high quality, big chunks delivering mouth watering deliciousness in every bite with onions & peppers that are seared perfectly, allowing me to go back in time to the days La Marginal was THE IT place to get the best pinchos on the island.
I'm very grateful for this place & I hope they continue to bring Puerto Rico's delicious cuisine as it should be- with mad crazy flavor & authenticity.

And I've jumped all over the menu at this point. Breakfast is always spot on- I'm particular to anything with fresh fruit and their healthy options are amazing (spinach tomato omelette- if you can finish it- protein power house for any meal of the day; Turkey avocado club- bangin')
This time however I went completely out of my wheel house and wanted comfort food. I had the Italian meatloaf with Mac n cheese (already reviewed their Mac n cheese; NOT just microwaved from Kraft) and sweet potato fries. My biscuits, which either the restaurant KNOWS now I love them- but I get them every time and this time they came with caramel apple butter as well as blueberry butter. I mean come on! Tell me another restaurant that makes different flavored butters regularly for a side item that comes with the meal...we can all wait for the answer cause it's no one. No one else goes that extra mile and that's only a minor reason I like this restaurant. Details are important to them and it shows.
I DID want mashed potatoes- but there is a glitch on DoorDash that won't let me get mashed potatoes with any meal from The Pantry. It asks me to make a decision about gravy on them but doesn't give me a button and it won't allow a meal with mashed in my cart at all. I actually tried it with two of the dinner entrees just to see if it would work and the button doesn't. Any other side item can add to an entree- just not mashed. This is an App issue; not the restaurant- I just want them to know.
My husband got the Chicken Terriyaki bowl- with grilled chicken, rice, veggies and pineapple- both of us liked it better than similar bowls you can get at Panera or even a Chipotle. Portions are generous here! You can not beat the consistent high quality of meals being turned out of this restaurant- from breakfast to dinner options they haven't missed a step yet. Def a hidden gem in this area. Again I say; Well done."
