That said it wasn't a super big deal but man that crepe cake slice was tiny, not at all like the online picture. I have very small hands and included a pic for size comparison. At this point I'm thinking "please let this taste like heaven"...and it misses the mark there for me as well. It has a somewhat bland but slight hint of sweetness to it. It's not a bad taste but nothing about it was crave worthy to me. "Maiz Mexican Cocina is an absolute gem, and their food blew me away! I have to start with the Chilaquiles Especiales a dish that is nothing short of perfection. Each bite is packed with tender, savory bites of chicken drenched in a vibrant, mouthwatering green sauce that coats everything beautifully. The flavors are bold, the textures are heavenly, and every single bite is like a celebration of authentic Mexican cuisine.
