"I had almost given up on Church's Chicken because prior to my last 2 purchases the quality of the food and service was very disappointing. Chicken was not fresh and tasted like it was cooked in old oil, Okra was fried to hard and shriveled up and they always forgot the jalapeño peppers or gave the bombers when they were not ordered.
But, I am extremely happy with the new staff and the food is sooo much better and everything is cooked to perfection and piping hot. "I can't lie. I was expecting some MID because it was late, but I was hungry and wanted some tacos or fajitas. I ended up ordering the fajitas. They were pretty darn good actually. You can tell they use fresh meat. It was very well seasoned! However, a tad bit on the salty side. But the flavor was there for sure. It comes with 3 tortillas, beans, rice and pico. There's also a mild green salsa and a red hot salsa's . They were both good. The rice was very good. The beans were decent. I ate half upon delivery. The next day, I made a burrito out of the leftovers, so it effectively serviced two meals and I was full both times. I can appreciate the freshness, the quality of the ingredients and the quantity. If I had one critique....it would be to dial back on the salt just a tad. But if I was hungry and craving fajitas, I would order again. "OMG, what the heck did I just eat?!?! Me and my daughter were late night browsing and came across this place, and ORIGINALLY we were just laughing at the names. After really taking a look at all the different options, we decide to try it. The written reviews weren't too encouraging but we decided to do the "FAT" menu, and i can say,
This food was SO good! We chose the wrap options for both the picks. It was extremely fresh and the portions are amazing! Very unique combinations, but trust me THEY WORK! Well worth the price and will absolutely be ordering again!!!"

The problem is it's either too expensive or the portions are too small. 3 enchiladas for $16 needs to fill me up. They were 4 bite enchiladas, and maybe a quarter cup of beans, 3 spoonfuls. The side of rice for $3 was barely a cup. I spent $36 and I am satisfied; I should be stuffed to the brim!! I actually planned to save the pazole for tomorrow but I finished the Enchiladas Bandera still really hungry. Again, It was very high quality and very tasty and if they increased their portions by about 50% it would have been worth every dollar. But im not spending $50 next time I want a really good a big meal. I can do that at another good Mexican restaurant for less than I spent today.
