Carnitas Plate was decent but did not include any pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese or sourcream and guac that would typically be included on a plate like this. Bottom line if you order from here be prepared to walk away hungry. "

The carne asada was tender, well-cut, and cooked perfectly with great flavor in every bite. The sides were just as good—the salad was fresh, and the rice was fluffy and tasty.
The gordita was probably my favorite. The al pastor was so good, and the masa itself was full of flavor, which you don’t always get. You can tell everything was made fresh and with care. The prices are reasonable as well!

Every single bite was packed with flavor and seasoning. Nothing tasted bland or like it was missing something—the flavors were bold, well-balanced, and just WORKED together. The potato itself was cooked perfectly for me: creamy and soft, but still had just enough firmness to give it some texture. It wasn’t overly mashed or mushy at all.
The pickled onions were such a good addition, and whatever pepper I got on there (I believe it was a bell pepper) added the perfect little extra something. The chicken was delicious, but let me tell you… THE BIRRIA!!! 😩🔥 That was easily my favorite part. The birria was so flavorful and tender, and I already know that’s going to be my go-to protein whenever I order again.
My only regret is not getting more corn! 😂 Next time I’m definitely adding extra because that combination was SO good.
Overall, this potato was absolutely amazing. You can tell there’s a lot of flavor and thought going into the ingredients and how everything comes together. I genuinely enjoyed every bite, and I’m already looking forward to my next one. El Papacito Hot Potatoes definitely gained a new customer! ❤️🔥🥔
