"That Oxtail meal was pretty decent and it this is my first time ordering food from this location. My appeared sufficent in terms of my portion size. The food was fresh and tasty, too! I see 👀 no reason "WHY?!!", I would'nt order from this place again. I received my order immediately; I took 1 look 👀 at my Instagram account, went upstairs and the driver was already sitting in his car in my driveway. Everything was perfect! So, I wrote this review to help your business; great food. I loved it 💓💓💓💓💓"

"The food is AMAZING. They pack the container full. It's flavorful and you can tell it's made with intention. This is my new favorite spot."
"The food is good ,well prepared..Best Jerk chicken, tried their jerk salmon once it's good. When you ask for hot sauce and sweet sauce on the side they dump it in the food.Twice I had that experience I couldn't eat the food.Another thing they charge you for large meals and send medium no good.Bought 1/2 1b jerk chicken I was embarrassed to see the serving, not complaining over food but people must get their money's worth please do better your customers will stay with you Thanks"

"Compared to the other Curry Goats I've had along Grand Ave, this is about bottom tier for me. Other places load my container up with Curry Goat while this place loads up the specific section. "The Fried Shrimp dinner was very good. The shrimp were fresh and large and cooked to perfection. I asked fo stew chicken gravy on my rice and peas. It was good. I was supposed to get Cole slaw with it but did not get it. I informed DD and they gave me a small credit to use for next time. The side of fried plantain was sweet and just right. The portions were enough for leftovers the next day."

"The lamb Breezes Lamp Chop in Honey Mustard Sauce had absolutely no honey mustard sauce. I guess they must have forgotten it for the take out order. The mashed potatoes was also lacking in taste and it wasn't very creamy. It was very dissapointing considering the cost of the meal. My boyfriend enjoyed his Breeze's Irie Pasta with chicken added and I enjoyed the Breezes Walnut Shrimp. The Breadfruit was also not very great. Their bammy is always great though. "Ordered a plate of Curry Chicken , Curry Goat and Island Flavor Jerk Island Flavor Jerk Chicken . Everything is absolutely delicious! First time ordering from this establishment and definitely won't be my last. I haven't had Jamaican food in a while and had a craving but I didn't know where to order from. Very impressed and highly satisfied. I also ordered the Jerk Chicken Patty and it did not disappoint. Mac and Cheese is baked to perfection. Meal portions are large enough to last for lunch and dinner. So glad I got my money's worth. "
"Ordered 2 oxtail meals (one with rice and peas and the other with white rice). THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I was born and raised in JA and I was hesitant to buy JA food here on long island. This place is the real deal, lots of meat and rice for the price (and so much gravy). Plantain and vegetable were also so so delicious. I would give this place more stars if I could. "Great portion, great taste!!"
"I love oxtail and was excited to try theirs. My order came to a little over $40.00 and I felt though it was pricey, good oxtails is at times worth it. It was not tender, the gravy was overly sweet vs savory and overall taste was perhaps the worst oxtail that I have ever eaten. I also tried theirs shrimp Pattie...which was 6.75 that too was not very tasty. The rice and the vegetables were ok. They have a picture of rum cake but it says rock cake. I ordered a slice to see if it was actually rum cake or rock cake. Ps it was rock cake which is almost a cookie texture so there is an error on their website. I would not waste my money here unless it's for a regular spicy beef Pattie or bread. The authentic flavors that I know was definitely missing from both dishes. I want to say more but I don't want to be mean, just honest."

"I was honestly surprised by the portion size when my order arrived. For a medium oxtail, I expected a more generous serving. I received two larger pieces of oxtail along with two much smaller pieces that were mostly bone. The oxtail itself was flavorful and tender, and the rice was good, but there wasn’t enough gravy to go with all of the rice. Overall, the food tasted great, but the portion size didn’t match my expectations, especially for the price. I hope they consider being more generous with both the oxtail and the gravy."

"Having lived near the mile for 7 years, I've been on a quest for truly authentic jerk chicken. As someone who grew up in Queens, I know good Jerk, and this spot is the only one that's lived up to the hype. Believe me, I've tried them all! The flavor is incredible, perfectly capturing that classic jerk taste.
My only hesitation is the price. I recently paid close to $30 for a meal that felt more like an $18 value. While the taste is amazing, that price point might make me think twice about ordering again."
"Listen! Everything was so tasty that once I started eating it I couldn't put it down! I'm American and I Love good clean Caribbean food! The jerk chicken ; tasted clean and what I mean by that time was taken to prepare the chicken! As there are no veins ! Reminding me of my Caribbean girl friend who really made love to whatever she prepared! Thank you Jerk on the Water for recreating that experience for me ! It is an absolute must to dine here! As soon as my vision is restored I will be eating in house and not through Door dash ! In the mean time I will continue to order my meals from here. Even if it's a little more than cook unity or Nutre meal plans it's worth it! The coleslaw is banging and the Mac n cheese made for N appetizing meal ; chef, you put your foot in it!! I am ordering again! Do you make Irish moss? I'd love to experience some good fresh sea moss!"

"Had the bandeja de pollo Al carbon which was delicious. Generous portion, rice and beans are delicious and fries. Ordered the side of maduros but they seemed undercooked, hard in the middle. The caramel flan is disgusting. Sweetest thing ever, straight up sugar, tastes nothing like a flan. I put some whipped cream on it to try to make it less sweet and more tolerable, but I couldn't eat it. The little cup ones at the super market taste better than that. Food was great, desert was awful and will never order that again. Maduros are hit or miss. "

"The grio and rice was flavorful. The grio was dry, which was not pleasant but the seasoning was good. The fried green plantains were soggy. Flavorful but soggy due to being in a container with the rest of the food. That's easily fixed by putting them in a separate container that doesn't hold much condensation. The rice was the best part. The Cubano was crispy had all the elements but instead of the usual green mojo had a minced garlic oil spread and Yuca fries on the side. The pork was super tender, lean and flavorful. The Pollo a la plancha was excellently grilled with a nice salad with corn and sliced Avocado."
"The food was flavorful. I ordered 3 meals but I was so disappointed, for the price, the amount of rice provided. They gave me a large aluminum container with one cup of white rice in it. "This is the best Rasta Pasta I have had!! The Cinnamon roll was really good too-moist and not too sweet. Jerk platter was on point. Definitely ordering again from this spot. "
"The Vegan Oxtail Bowl tasted so authentic. The flavor and texture was on point. The Fried Chick'n Sandwich (Vegan) was so perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on this inside. I haven't bit into such a perfectly balanced sandwich in so long. I tasted a freshness that felt nostalgic. This is what food should taste like!"

"I just want to say that I have a cold and I just know that chicken noodle soup is going to make me better. It was so good with some pepper sauce thrown in to clear my sinuses. The cassava and thickness of the soup was so full of flavor. I don't usually like bones but the depth of it from the chicken was delicious. It reminded me of childhood. I would order it again and I know my mom would enjoy it, too. I got a large and finished it all by myself so next time."
"Food was very delicious and fresh! I ordered the ribs and they were incredibly tender and full of flavor. I also ordered chicken fried rice and it was just as tasty and fresh . Definitely a great spot if you're craving well-prepared, flavorful food the portions can feed 2"

"Always a big portion and besides the chicken and yellow rice being yummy, the pernil is soooo very delicious! "
"Maduros were horrible, they smelled like old oil. Ruined the entire meal. The chicken stew was dry, dry chicken, one carrot, no potato, no stew sauce. Very disappointing. We order every in every Friday, this place is to expensive to order again for lunch. The lemonade however was delucious."
