Tacos Don Javi has delivered nothing but quality when it comes to their food! The Tortas the Burritos and the Tacos are a hit! I have not had a bad experience. The meat, is high quality and roasted over the flame! and cut perfectly, nice and seasoned! The other mexican places in Addison seem to specialize in other areas but to my knowledge they seem have lowbudget meat with a lot of nerve and fat and really oily, if ykyk, and the cut isn't right on their Asada and you can also tell that theirs is not over the flame like Asada should be, and at Tacos Don Javi it is! "Colombian's Taste is easily one of my favorite restaurants. I've tried many different options from the menu and enjoyed them all! I have a gluten intolerance, but many of the food is naturally gluten-free, which means I have significantly more options than I do elsewhere.
The packaging is also among the best I've ever seen, especially when I order soups like Ajiaco. The plastic wrap around the containers makes a difference in keeping everything sealed well for travel.
Everything is fresh when delivered, textures are maintained well due to packing, everything tastes incredible, and the food is so filling I usually get more than one meal out of it, which makes the price worth it.

"Fronteras is one of the best Mexican food spots in Palatine. The owner runs a clean shop with fresh ingredients and fire grilled meats for every order. I would compare Fronteras to a fresher, more authentic version of Chipotle. When you order in the store, you choose your ingredients and protein before they turn around and grill the meat fresh on the spot, most of the time I've been there anyway.
We moved to Palatine in April 2025 and have been happily returning here at least on a monthly basis. I prefer the arrachera burrito with habanero salsa and red salsa. Each burrito is large and the quesadillas also are very filling. The bowls at Fronteras are comparable to the size you get at Chipotle."
