If you are not used to authentic Thai food it may look bland to you. Let me assure you it is not. The chilis used are much hotter than ones you see in America so less is used. This makes it mouth hot, but not stomach hot. The 5 will make your nose run and maybe flush your face out but if you want spicey for a Thai person you should tell them and they can do it.
