Pickup Experience
We ordered takeout through DoorDash for three people, but the pickup process was unclear. There was no signage indicating where to collect orders and no staff visible in the front area. After waiting and searching, I had to go into the kitchen to get assistance, which made the experience feel disorganized.
Food Quality
The food was underwhelming overall. The ribs and pulled pork lacked noticeable seasoning and smoke flavor, resulting in a bland taste. The pulled pork sandwiches also needed a significant amount of sauce to add flavor.
Sauces
The barbecue sauces were provided in unmarked containers, with no indication of which was mild or hot. This led to accidentally using a very spicy sauce, which was an unpleasant surprise during the meal.
Conclusion
While portion sizes were reasonable, the combination of unclear pickup instructions, unlabelled sauces, and bland food made for a disappointing first visit. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, and we would be hesitant to return."
