"If you like spicy chicken sandwiches then you have found the holy grail. Incredibly juicy chicken breast with the perfect amount of breading. Not over breaded like Popeyes and not under breaded like Chic-Fil-a.
The spice level is subjective, I usually opt for hot but if I want some heat I will go with extra hot. If you have a lower tolerance, go with medium and below.
French fries are solid too, shake shack style crinkle-cut but with better seasoning and a bit more crispy. Dip the fries or the sandwich in "Dave's Special Sauce" if you want to help cool things down and it tastes good too.
If it's your first time, I recommend going in person as the wait with DD will probably have the food soggy by the time it hits your doorstep and leave a bad first impression. The take-out containers are not vented so all the moisture given off from the hot food gets trapped. Don't be surprised if you get there and see a line out the door! That's normal and it moves fast. The collard greens are good, not my favorite ive ever had but im also used to ones with hamhock and not turkey. I think since I ordered late they were out of biscuits but they replaced it with a side of mac and cheese (and extra chicken) which I am certainly not upset about lol. "This was my second time ordering from Fixins'. This experience was almost as perfect at the first except in the 3 Piece Plate ,the 2 chicken breasts were fried too fast in oil that was too hot. The crust was overcooked and too dark vs golden brown.What should have been crunchy was this side of being burnt and the meat drier than expected. The chicken leg however was undercooked and as shown in the pic, still slightly bloody at the bone and drained into the box. To be safe I chose to microwave the trio for 2 mins before eating. The sides: double Collard Greens and double Potato Salad were EXCELLENT as before. I think next go around I'll go with a Veggie plate instead. To their credit, the portions are ample and filling. I had leftovers both times"

The quality of the pastry itself is without parallel. The recipe reminds me of Pink Box donuts back in Vegas, which I think I still prefer - but damn this was good!
