"First time ordering here and the Griot lunch LS was delicious!! The griot was cooked perfectly! Good mix of fat and softness. The Pikliz wasn't too spicy and you can actually eat it lol. I will order again!"
"I ordered takeout from here and was seriously impressed. The snapper was absolutely exquisite, perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor even after the drive home. It’s not easy for seafood to travel well, but this held up beautifully.Everything was packaged carefully, still fresh and delicious when I opened it. You can tell they really care about quality, even with pickup orders.Highly recommend if you’re craving amazing seafood at home—I’ll definitely be ordering again!"

"I order the Cortadito every morning at work and it wakes me up and has an amazing smooth taste. I had the Turkey Sandwich as well for lunch and wow, it tasted so good, unlike any sandwich I have tried before! I love the El Cubano Sandwich Shop! "
"The coffee is great. The Breakfast Sandwich and El Caballo Sandwich were a miss. El Caballo means "the horse" which is a fitting name as the steak is thin, and tastes like teriyaki beef jerky, with a texture somewhere between jerky and moist jerky.
I'll absolutely get coffee here again but both sandwiches lead me to think they should stick to being a coffee shop."

"Not too bad! The jerk chicken (dark meat) had a nice smoky flavor and, most importantly, wasn’t dry. It was refreshing to have jerk Jerk Chicken (Dark Meat) that was actually moist and flavorful. The rice was also really good, not like some other Jamaican restaurants where the rice and peas can be dry. This rice was moist, well-seasoned, and had plenty of flavor. The only problem is I ordered a patty and they were out of Beef Patty and I didn't know until I got my order that they were out. Definitely will try this place again though."

"The Curry Shrimp Meal and Boneless Curry Chicken Meal were top notch. I really loved the roast pepper sauce. That took the meal to the next level. I can appreciate the frustrations of others regarding the smaller portion size. I think that Tabanka's food is amazing. Would I have loved more? Sure. I also recognize that the restaurant has to be aware of their portion sizes as not to hurt their profit margins. I felt our portion size was appropriate for the price paid. Anna and team, keep up the amazing work!"

"This was my second time ordering from this place, and it did not disappoint at all! This has got to be one of the best Griot (Fried Pork) that I have had in the whole South Florida area. The meat was tender, fresh, seasoned with an amazing gravy; the Plantains (3 Bannan Peze) and Marinade were hot, fresh and well seasoned. 10/10 quality and service!"
"The Tassot Turkey (Fried Turkey)itself was tasty. The black rice was kind of bland. The Boulette (Meatballs) was really tiny for the price and were not tasting good. Not the quality of Boulette (Meatballs) that I would usually get from other Haitian restaurants. The plaintains did not taste like it was cooked in fresh oil. Usually it's better here, maybe it was the I ordere but I was disappointed."

"Best rice and oxtails in the city. I was skeptical but it was worth it. Big portion, definitely fresh and now my man has to order me dinner from here every week."
"The Fried Chicken was burnt, I always ordered white meat and very few times I get a piece of breast. It's always two wings and a piece of back of the breast or some scraps. The rice is hard at times and most times have no color because they don't use enough peas.

"Delicious, closest to my mummy's tassot dine that I've been able to find in South FL in over a decade. Pikliz needed more cabbage and carrots in my opinion but that's my preference (I prefer a crunchier pikliz) but the flavor and spice level were very good. Banan peze on point. Diri djon djon very tasty. Diri kole was SO good. 10/10
Also laughing at the other review that stated she "didn't like it" but also thumbs upped all three of the dishes she ordered... "DoorDash Emerging Expert" is an interesting qualifier for congnitive dissonance. Maybe she was seeking a refund but couldn't lie on them flavors? But that’s none of my business though."

"Initially, I placed my order through the storefront instead of the one that processes delivery orders. A dasher reached out to me to let me know about the mix-up. After that conversation, I contacted the store directly. A lovely, polite woman explained the situation to me.
After I reordered, I discovered that one of the items was unavailable. However, she made it right by going above and beyond, even sending an extra treat. At that moment, I knew the food would be delicious. The customer service truly left a positive impression on me, and the meal was yummy. Thank you!"

"Delicious food at great prices but may we suggest better to go cups for hot beverages because they leak from the bottom of the cardboard cups. But the food is so good, we will continue to order from New Jersey Deli. "
"This place always hits. The 6 - Media Noche is perfect. The 50 - Pork Roll Sandwich with hot sauce is 🔥... the Ham Croquette makes me wanna smack my mama right in the mouth. No frills, great prices, in your face, awesome."

"Nice flavor...Griot was moist on the inside, outside was fried just right. Rice and beans large potion, veg was fresh. The side toppings were a bonus to me but made the dish much more enjoyable. The restaurant staff were beyond helpful and humble, they go out of there to make sure all orders are accurate and accounted for. Just found a gem."
"The griot is amazing. But the fries and 6 Pcs Chicken Wings were a miss. Like major miss. I also think this may have been a one off but it was a major miss. The Meal Griot - Fried Pork Served W/ White Rice And Black Bean Sauce had a lot of fat pieces also so though it tasted great there were a lot of pieces. Over all it's decent.
I dont know if I'd order again only because the inconsistency is a hit or miss and the price isn't that low to just sample."
