"This is an addendum to my original review. The Crispy Crab Wontons(5) did not taste like crab nor was there anything resembling crab in them. Spicy Creamy Shrimp Taco(2) was the only dish right with this order. There were 5 little pieces of steak in the Grilled NY Steak Fried Rice if it was New York it was tough and 1 piece was a square of fat. "I love People's Choice normally, but the penne pasta (they didn't have Eggplant Parmesan) is a very low quality pasta for an excessive price. Don't get me wrong, there is a whole lot of it, but low quality "penne" in a marinara sauce with a bit of cheese is not an almost 20 dollar value of an item. I think my biggest frustration point is that it appears the pasta was boiled in unsalted water. Instead of a nice even saltiness with a sweet sauce, you get noodles that tastes bland and almost watery.
This isn't to knock the marinara, as it's a reasonably tasty marinara, and I honestly wouldn't be writing a negative review at all if this was 8 dollars. Overall, love the restaurant, but I don't recommend the pasta at all given you can quickly make a better pasta at home with sauce from a jar and salted water."
