"I have been hooked on boba tea since I first tasted it while living in South Carolina( I know, of all places...). When we moved back to Ohio, I couldn't find it anywhere and was jonesing for boba tea for years. Now, I can get it at several different places!
My personal favorite is Pearl Tea. I really like Pearl Tea's boba tea, it's a perfect blend of ingredients.
I especially appreciate the options Pearl gives the customer: I can ask for less ice, and make my tea less sweet. That was my only criticism of boba tea in general, it could be too sweet.
Having the option of less sweet allows me to enjoy my treat AND have a bit less guilt! Plus, I think boba tea is better less sweet.

I have one suggestion: make your straws optional. I almost always have an extra straw or (ten) lying around my kitchen and it seems not only wasteful that I get more straws with every order, but it's also not good for the environment . The steamed dumplings were very good(probably the most generous serving of the ground pork filling I've ever had in a dumpling). The serving of six might lead one to think that these would be small...they are good-sized and with soup or a salad would easily make a satisfying meal for me. I am not a heavy eater, and I know that would be on the small side for my husband. I mention this anyway for the sake of those like me who prefer to err on the lighter side!
All in all, I have a new favorite restaurant to add to my favorite Thai restaurant. Basil seems to have good exemplars from a number of Asian cuisines. (And we are working at trying them all!)"
