"I had never ordered from Sappore before, but I was craving a Philly cheesesteak and found them through DoorDash’s “Happy Hour” section. First of all, bravo to them for offering an affordable menu during select times—something rare these days! I was initially drawn to their plain pizza, which was priced reasonably (not $28 like many places!).
While the cheesesteak wasn’t part of the Happy Hour deal, I was so impressed by the rest of their menu that I decided to give it a try, along with an order of cheese fries. Let me tell you, this is the spot I’ve been searching for in Atlantic County. I was nearly in tears because everything was just that good.
The Philly cheesesteak? Glorious. It’s massive—basically like two full cheesesteaks in one—and the flavors are incredible. It’s fresh, perfectly seasoned, and easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had since Gino’s. No exaggeration.
The pizza? Beautiful. It was perfectly made, fresh, and delicious. Even the cheese fries were warm, fresh, and made with care.
What truly impressed me were the little details—Sappore sent paper plates, ketchup, and utensils with my order. I can’t remember the last time a place went above and beyond like that. They genuinely care about their food and customers, and it shows.
I don’t eat out often, but when I do, I expect food to be worth the money and far from mediocre. Sappore delivered in every way. 5 stars all the way! I can’t wait to order from them again. Keep up the amazing work!

"I have had this sandwich before and it was great. This time there was hardly any meat and I couldn't find any cheese. My first bites had something hard and crispy and it felt like glass, but was a huge piece of cracked pepper. Also, there was an end of the lettuce (looked like romaine). "It's a huge burrito. However, it was mostly filled with potatoes, very little guacamole and underseasoned beef with cheese. Really missing some seasoning or salsa as a side. Had no heat. It was filling but more greasy and too much carb over protein ratio. Should have gone with something else. I consume mex food weekly but I'm not from here. It's a bit disappointing, I've had their shrimp tacos and that is better option still very bland compared to other restaurants outside of OCNJ. However very filling for a mex craving."

"I normally love panzinis but I haven't ordered from them in a long time bc I haven't been to the shore in a while! I was so excited to order a Cheesesteak Wrap from them bc their cheesesteaks are so good but I was so disappointed. It looked like they literally threw it together with no care and threw it all in a box with my fries which in turn made them soggy which also sucks bc they normally have great fries! The meat was chewy and bad quality and the lettuce wasn't even shredded which I have never seen on a Cheesesteak Wrap before so that was terrible too. And the couple of onions they put on the one half of my wrap were literally 3 inches thick. How do you not slice your raw onion?! I'm sad and even more sad this was a $20 meal PLUS DoorDash fees and TIP! Thank god the driver was amazing!"
