Today I treated myself to one of my all-time favorite sandwiches; a club sandwich and a cafe con leche. Absolutely huge, delicious sandwich. They add crunchy matchstick fries to the sandwich; only place that does that. All the ingredients, turkey, bacon, matchstick fries, lettuce, tomatoes, and a touch of mayo; never smothered, just the right amount. Either I was very hungry or the sandwich was spectacular; yep, it was spectacular.
Let's talk about the cafe con leche. I have no idea what they do to it, but in my opinion, it is the best all around. I asked for it to be dark, extra sugar and extra hot and that's exactly what I got.
Thank you to whomever prepared this for me. My life is a little different than several years ago when I would visit Capital de los Jugos almost every day. Today, I am disabled living on disability, living at an ALF, and treating myself to these things is something I can only do every once in a blue moon.
