Tonight's repast was 51. Enchiladas Tradicionales. It comes with beans and rice and a small guac salad. The enchiladas are covered in green sauce which I find to be more flavorful and complex. This is much closer to traditional than most of the Gringo-ized Mexican restaurants in town.

"Today's meal wasn't up to their regular standards. But, as far as I'm concerned, it's a one-off issue.
The 43. Tamal Mexicano plate offers tamal, chili relleno and an enchilada like piece. The tortilla seemed as though it saw a little too much time in the connection oven. It was crispy in places. The chili relleno has part of the cooked batter stuck to the lid which ripped immediately as I opened it. Regardless, the taste was still superior to other restaurants who lean far more Americanized than traditional Mexican.
The 50. Enchiladas Dinner has rice and beans, something the tamal plate sadly lacks. While the tamal plate is my go to, the enchiladas are my secondary choice.

"I requested no onions and cilantro or to put it on the side and they put cilantro and onions on anyway. I usually dont order onions because the flavor of raw onion isnt good to me and I feel like it takes away the flavor from the meat. The cilantro I'm sort of okay with, it just (to me) makes things taste 10x more limey and I'm fine with the amount of lime I squeeze onto the tacos. That was my only complaint though. The birria meat and consumé was delicious, tender, and filled with flavor, the queso was really good and not grainy at all, the salsa was spicy but not too spicy, and the refried beans were pretty good. The tacos also had a lot of meat and cheese, they definitely did not skimp with either. They also had lots of onion and cilantro so if thats your thing, there you go. "
