About the only part that was edible was the broth, which was still average & quite sweet. Overall I'm disappointed & will be removing this place from my favourites. "The quality of the food from Golden Grove Soonta has become so appalling.
We pay an extra $2 to add pork to a bowl, but receive 95% pork skin and the tiniest specks of meat. They fill the bowl with rice and give hardly any greens, slaw or condiments. The sweet potato fries are also undercooked - very hit and miss. They do a much better job when you are there to watch what they add, and take advantage of people getting the food delivered.
I called the store about this and they tried to make excuses, saying people like the crackling. I also like crackling, but not as a full substitute for the meat I am paying extra for! Biggest rip off - do right by your customers and give them what they pay for. "
