As I grew up I moved all around the state of NJ and haven't found a restaurant this good. I moved to my grandmas house last year and have only ordered from this restaurant because thats how good it is. This time we had Pork lo mein and Wontons in Chili Oil. The chilli oil they make is absolutely delicious and it pairs well with the Wontons. Some restaurants make the wonton dough very thick. Shu House doest do that, it is thin without being messy.
The lo mein was also really good. The wok hei in the dish really makes it extra special. "
"I have been ordering from Shu House for many years. They always package the food very well especially the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. As you can see from the photo the soup is packaged separately in a plastic bag to prevent spillage.
While they are probably more known for their Sichuan spicy dishes, their Taiwanese food is authentic and tastes really good.
My family and I appreciate the quality of the food that we get especially when we are craving Taiwanese food.

"The only reason I wouldn't give the Shabu Shabu Beef Ramen a good rating is only because it is labeled on the menu as a "spicy" option. When received it was not spicy, like at all. The taste was rich and flavorful, but just not what I wanted when ordering this meal. Though for how far away it was, i'm mildly impressed that it stayed hot through the entire ride, but it did, which is something I also enjoyed! The size was good for its price and honestly I wasn't able to finish it all again. If they have any actual spicy options I would also feel inclined to order their ramen again since the quality of it wasn't bad at all.
