"OMG! OMG! First time ordering and this is now my new favorite Chinese Restaurant! The S7. Walnut Shrimp 核桃虾 is unbelievably amazing! The shrimp are huge, it's perfectly battered and the sauce is superb! My next favorite is the 6. Wonton and Egg Drop Combo 云吞蛋花汤 I had never heard of having both soups combined but let me tell you, it works! You must try it! The wontons are generously filled as well. They have a part of their menu that is Weight Watchers friendly which I am definitely going to try. Pan Pan isn't overpriced, (some of their competitors are higher priced and not nearly as good). I've loved Sy Thai for yearsss. The food is and always has been absolutely delicious. It's one of my go to places to order from.
That said, I'm done going through doordash bc over the past couple of years the restaurant has consistently screwed up orders (ie chicken when I order veggie etc), failed to include items, etc.. I'd say 50% of my orders have been wrong in some way - it's disappointing esp when you pay $16 for a dish that is incorrect and only get like $4.58 back (which I understand is a doordash issue, not a sy thai issue; still frustrating).
Like I said - the food is good. So good! I don't want to stop ordering from Sy Thai, but going forward it will only be if I or someone else can pick it up to make sure everything is included and correct. "
